Milan, April 20 (Ians) Italian giants Inter set up a Champions League semifinal against city rivals AC Milan as they saw off the challenge of Portuguese club Benfica in an eventful quarterfinal second leg at San Siro.
Inter were held to a 3-3 draw by a fighting Benfica but they had done enough in the first leg to advance 5-3 on aggregate.
Inter led 2-0 from the first leg and extended that lead inside a quarter of an hour thanks to a fine strike from Nicolò Barella, who drove forward, exchanged passes with Lautaro Martínez and then curled in with his weaker left foot.
Martínez had a goal disallowed as Inter looked to press home their advantage, but Benfica drew level on the night when Fredrik Aursnes rose superbly to head in Rafa Silva’s right-wing cross.
David Neres was introduced at the break by the visitors and they started the second half brightly,...

If you've ever wondered what Stanley Kubrick's The Shining would have been like as a musical, wonder no longer because we have a video here that you have to watch! The movie is already a disorienting and terrifying movie, but adding a cheerful musical element to it takes things to a level of absurdity that will make you laugh.
The video below was created by Antonio Maria da Silva, and he used the scene from the film in which Jack has a conversation with Grady in the red restroom as he is getting his coat cleaned off. The scene was cut together in a way where the two are singing to each other about "correcting" Jack's wife and son. It's actually kind of unnerving, especially with the looks that Jack gives during the musical number.
If you're a fan of The Shining you have to watch this. It's really quite the viewing experience.

Antonio Maria Da Silva is my favorite mashup editor working on the internet right now. He's the guy responsible for those awesome Hell's Club videos, and now he's used his skills to create a Christmas-themed mashup that imagines a world in which Kevin McCallister, John McClane, Krampus, Iron Man, Jason Voorhees, and more pop culture characters all live in the same universe. It's incredibly well done and will likely be one of the coolest movie-related things you'll see this holiday season. Enjoy:

You may recognize editor Antonio Maria Da Silva as the person responsible for those awesome Hell's Club videos, the mashups that imagines a cinematic nexus in which dozens of movie characters of all kinds can interact at a single nightclub. (Watch them here and here.) Now he's back with a new video that offers a different kind of mashup. Set to Gene Kelly's classic rendition of "Singin' in the Rain" from the movie of the same title, the video makes it appear as if other characters from different movies are the ones singing the lyrics. The effect admittedly works better at some points than others, but it's still an amusing mashup that I found entertaining and figured some of you would enjoy.

Hell’s Club, the mind-boggling mash-up of pop culture mise en scene, has spawned a sequel: Hell’s Club, Part Two: Another Night. Director and editor Antonio Maria da Silva has summoned a follow-up that’s even trippier than the original, if possible. Once more, icons from our cinematic imagination boogie down (and shoot each other up) in a red-lit disco. The music oscillates between dance-floor thump and lyrical balladry, and the range of characters has grown to include Captain Kurtz, Ridley Scott’s Alien, three different James Bonds, a flashdancing Jennifer Beals, Jack Nicholson’s frustrated Shining author, Jack Torrance, and, of course, Tony […]...

"There is a place where all fictional characters meet. Outside of time, Outside of all logic, This place is known as Hell'S Club, But this club is not safe."
Last year, Antonio Maria da Silva posted "Hell's Club," a nine-minute short in which - through slick editing and visual effects - had screen characters from multiple decades and hundreds of films coming together on screen in one giant nightclub.
Today, he's back with the even more ambitious sequel. Clocking in at 17 minutes, it's a piece that includes four James Bonds, two Carries, two T-800s, characters played by the same actors and the weirdest combinations of iconic screen characters from multiple decades - resulting in some moments you never thought you'd see (like Blade being killed by an Alien xenomorph).

The nightclub visit has been a staple of numerous films across genres, whether it’s thrillers, action films, science fiction, supernatural creature features, or even period pieces. Nightclubs, more often than not, are pivotal elements to the story, either providing a key turning point for the plot, or providing a more in-depth look at a character or a group of characters.
Now youtube user Antonio Maria Da Silva has edited together the nightclub visits of several characters into a short film mashup called Hell’s Club. The mashup short brings together characters of all ilk, crossing genres and even having characters played by the same performer, such as Al Pacino’s Carlito Brigante from Carlito’s Way and Tony Montana from Scarface, interact with each other on occasion. The resulting video can be seen below, with a list of films used appearing at the end.

We've all seen fan made videos on the web. Be they mashups of inspirational speeches, or dedicated fan movies or trailers for something not yet released, most of them are made with love and passion for the movies they showcase but ultimately you can tell that they've been crafted by someobe sitting at home with a laptop. That's not to say that some aren't brilliant - Joseph Kahn's Power Rangers movie being a great example. Well, now we have another fan video to geek out over, and it's by a a guy called Antonio Maria Da Silva, also known as AMDSFilms. Antonio is a French YouTuber and something of a whiz when it comes to mashups. His latest, Hell's Club, is a collection of some famous characters from almost every genre, and a night they spent in a fictional nightclub. The editing is some of the best we have...

From Star Wars to RoboCop, this mash-up of every club scene in a movie ever is amazing.
Cinema's greatest badasses – including Darth Vader, Scarface and Blade – are united under one roof at the appropriately-titled Hell's Club, all thanks to a brilliant short film which uses computer-generated footage.
Only in Hell's Club can you find jedis Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker searching for Boogie Nights' Rollergirl – although it looks like Anakin has caught the eye of Saturday Night Fever's Tony Manero.
It's also risky business when two versions of Tom Cruise come face-to-face on the dancefloor and a pair of Al Pacinos square off.
Watch closely and you'll also spot international man of mystery Austin Powers, the club-hopping Roxbury Guys, The Terminator and even that smooth criminal Michael Jackson – just to name a few.
If you're itching to get into Hell's Club, you better book ahead. It looks crowded!

In our increasingly digital era, it now feels safe to say that mash-ups qualify, in their way, as authentic micro-narratives. Many of these videos simply pay tribute to the great work of past filmmakers and today’s most vaulted auteurs. They are undeniably pervasive in the culture — the compulsion to dissect and rearrange traditional cinematic storylines and play mix-and-match with your favorite films must be a hard one to resist. And then, every now and again, you see something like Antonio Maria Da Silva’s ludicrous, fast-paced “Hell’s Club.” It’s a mash-up of old and new movies that’s so seamlessly engineered that you forget that you’re essentially watching a sort of visual collage, a give-and-take tribute to other films. Which is to say that the mash-up itself has a strange, scattered little story all its own. Read More: Watch This Supercut That Highlights The Visual Symmetry...

I don.t want to alarm anyone, but this might be the best mashup video of all time. The opening title card sets the scene: "There is a place or fictional characters meet. Outside of time, outside of all logic. This place is known as Hell.s Club." Watch the mashup below. Antonio Maria Da Silva of YouTube has created some dynamite mashups in the past, including his "Bruce Lee vs. Bruce Lee," "Terminator vs. RoboCop," and "Fight of the Universe," the latter of which inserts Neo from The Matrix, Batman from Christopher Nolan's films, Spider-Man from Sam Raimi.s films, and the like into one epic movie battle. This time around, Silva has smooshed together some of our favorite movie characters so that they all interact in a mystical dance club called Hell.s Club. It.s all strategically centered around the futuristic alien bar from Star Wars...
