TVLine has an exclusive sneak peek of the episode, appropriately titled “Fast Time Capsules at Wagstaff School,” during which Tina is put in charge of the school’s time capsule project. Possibly because she’s the only person who shows any interest.

Linda and Mr. Fischoeder are teaming up to sing an ode to bananas in a new sneak peek at Sunday’s episode of “Bob’s Burgers,” and who doesn’t love a good duet?
With lyrics like “I like bananas in muffins and scones / I like bananas when I’m making a phone,” the song appears not to be the Hoosier Hot Shots novelty song “I Like Bananas (Because They Have No Bones),” but a completely different song about a different set of reasons to be fond of the yellow fruit.
The clip comes from Sunday’s episode “Copa-Bob-bana,” in which Bob (H. Jon Benjamin) agrees to be the temporary chef at the Fischoeders’ new nightclub. Meanwhile, the kids get a hold of a stock tank and decide to throw a pool party in the restaurant basement.

Sarah Silverman revealed today that she has consensually allowed Louis C.K. to masturbate in front of her in the past. “When we were kids, and he asked if he could masturbate in front of me, sometimes I’d go, ‘Fuck yeah I want to see that!,'” she told Howard Stern Monday, according to Variety. “It’s not analogous to the other women that are talking about what he did to them. Sarah Silverman says she is among the roster of female comedians who witnessed fellow comic Louis C.K. masturbate, but for Silverman the act was consensual.
Silverman, appearing today on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show, suggested that the absence of a power differential between her and C.K. precluded the behavior from being abusive. The incidents occurred early in the careers of the longtime friends.
“I don’t know if I’m going to regret saying this,” Silverman told Stern. “I’ve known Louis forever. I’m not making excuses for him, so please don’t take this that way. We are peers. We are equals. When we were kids, and he asked if he could masturbate in front of me, sometimes I’d go, ‘F*ck yeah, I want to see that!’”
Silverman continued: “It’s not analogous to the other women that are talking about what he did to them.

Austin, Texas — At the Atx TV Festival, HBO’s “The Comeback” was still very much an object of TV fan adoration. Lisa Kudrow, Michael Patrick King, Dan Bucatinsky, and Laura Silverman joined moderator Abigail Spencer to reminisce about the fan-favorite comedy, and how the show returned to do a second season ten years after the first run.
They began the panel by taking a moment to pay tribute to Robert Michael Morris, who played Mickey Dean, Valerie’s hair stylist and confidant. Morris was supposed to join the group at Atx but passed away May 30.
“He’s the only person who could have played that part,” said Bucatinsky.
Kudrow made it clear that though the show was shot documentary style, “It was not about my experience on ‘Friends.'” She added, “I did send the writers cookies, but that’s because I love cookies, not so they’d write me more stuff.

‘The Comeback’: Lisa Kudrow and Michael Patrick King Tease Possible Season 3 at Atx Festival Reunion
“The Comeback” could be coming back — again. And for exhausting as that turn of phrase as become (we’re sorry), there is no sign of series fatigue among the cast and creators.
Co-creators Lisa Kudrow and Michael Patrick King joined executive producer Dan Bucatinsky and co-star Laura Silverman for a reunion panel at the Atx TV Festival — moderated by the self-described “biggest ‘Comeback’ fan ever,” Abigail Spencer (“Timeless”) — and the group had plenty of ideas for how to keep the series going.
“There’s always a possibility,” Kudrow said of a Season 3. “If [Season 2] happened, then it’s a possibility.”
King echoed her enthusiasm, contending that the television landscape is perfectly set up for a return of Valerie Cherish.
“There’s so much aggressive sales needed, it’s like a perfect humiliation trap,” King said, holding up a water bottle sporting an ad for a network he wasn’t familiar with.

The sixth annual Atx Festival already has a slew of exciting reunions set for 2017: an “Alias” writers’ room reunion, a “Northern Exposure” reunion, and a “Designing Women” reunion are all already on the books. Now the stacked lineup is set to squeeze in two more: HBO’s “The Comeback” and the 30th anniversary of “thirtysomething.”
Lisa Kudrow, who co-created, executive produced and starred in “The Comeback,” will join fellow co-creator Michael Patrick King, cast member and producer Dan Bucatinsky, and cast member Laura Silverman for a reunion panel on the cult favorite. Additional cast will be announced at a later date, so here’s hoping Malin Akerman returns to discuss one of her best roles.

2018 will be a sad year for fans of Cartoon Network's animated series Adventure Time because that is the year that it will come to an end. We all knew it couldn't last forever, and it will be sad to see it go. In the meantime, we'll just have to enjoy the new episodes over the next two years. Deadline points out that by the time the series comes to a close, it will have had eight years and 71 hours of programming since it began.
The series was created by Pendleton Ward and centers on the post-apocalyptic adventures of Finn the Human (Jeremy Shada) and Jake the Dog (John Dimaggio). They are best friends who find themselves embarking on crazy and surreal adventures in the magical Land of Ooo.
This has been such an entertaining show to watch! I've enjoyed the strange visual style of it and the unique tone.

There's a lot of reluctance in episode two of "The Comeback." Valerie Cherish is reluctant to film her new HBO dramedy without being able to get plastic surgery first. Her husband Mark doesn't understand why Val would want either cosmetic surgery, referencing injections that went very wrong for her, nor does Mark understand why she'd want a role as "a not-so-flattering version of yourself written by a drug-addicted asshole." He later resists the camera crews filming him at home. That drug-addicted asshole, Paulie G., is also (and once again) reluctant to be filmed by the camera crews following her, now for a behind-the-scenes HBO web series--though that seems to be something even the fictional HBO representatives are reluctant about. There's little enthusiasm for it, especially with one of Valerie's young crew members slamming the boom mic into mini blinds. Most significantly, though, is the reluctance of Val's old producer, Jane,...

If you can assemble some of the best animated voice actors into a single room and put them in front of a live audience, why not ask them to do something crazy? That was our thought process as we planned what would become Vulture Festival’s “Animated Voices” panel, which featured Bob's Burgers and Archer actors H. Jon Benjamin, Lucky Yates, John Roberts, Larry Murphy, and Laura Silverman reading famous movie lines using their cartoon-character voices. They dove in, performing memorable scenes from Titanic, When Harry Met Sally, Pulp Fiction, and other classics, and it was a blast. You simply haven't heard the "I'll have what she's having" fake-orgasm scene until you've heard it done in the voice of Linda Belcher.

HBO confirmed the news Monday that its cult, one-season show, starring a fresh-from-"Friends" Lisa Kudrow as a deluded, washed-up sitcom star, will be returning for another season. "The Comeback," which premiered way back in 2005, lasted only 13 episodes; this new season is being billed as a "six-episode limited series."
The meta show focuses on Valerie Cherish, an actress who decides to shoot a reality show detailing her attempt to regain her star status, though things don't exactly go as planned. According to HBO's official press release announcing season two, the show will pick up 10 years later, as the reality TV craze has reached new heights.
"Valerie thinks she has it all figured out this time. She doesn't," the release states. " ... In the new episodes, Valerie continues her search to attain the spotlight, but this time around, it illuminates a whole new series...

In the vein of great comedic mockumentaries like Waiting For Guffman and Best In Show, Jesus People is based on the hilarious and popular Independent Comedy Network web series that charts the rise and fall of America’s worst Christian pop band, Cross My Heart.
When Pastor Jerry (Joel McCrary from Best In Show) gets possibly awful medical news he is determined to reach his rebellious teen son (Chris Fennessy) while he still can. He finds four young musicians with varying levels of talent and their first single “Save The World” takes off on multiple (and some unexpected) radio formats just as the band starts to unravel.
In a search for some Christian music to expose to his teenage son, Pastor Jerry stumbles upon the music video for “Jesus is my good man.”
Check out the hilarious video for the song, which is featured in the film, with a great cameo from Octavia Spencer.

Sarah Silverman was all jokes at the Comedy Central roast of James Franco, but she has been as genuine and heartfelt as possible to discuss the death of her dog, Duck. The comedian had to put down her 19-year-old pooch on Sept. 3 due to his deteriorating health, and wrote an "obituary type thing" in his honor.
"Duck 'Doug' Silverman came into my life about 14 years ago. He was picked up by the State running through South Central with no collar, tags or chip. Nobody claimed or adopted him so a no-kill shelter took him in. That's where I found him -- at that shelter, in Van Nuys. Since then we have slept most every night together (and many lazy afternoons)," she writes on her WhoSay account. "He was a happy dog, though serene. And stoic. And he loved love."
Silverman goes on to talk about how Duck became deaf, blind...

Fox has officially picked up animated comedy Bob's Burgers for a fourth season, which will consist of 22 episodes. The show, which received its first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Animated Program earlier this year, is two episodes into its third season, though the episodes currently airing are a part of the second season episode order. Therefore, the full-season order for a fourth production cycle assures that Bob's Burgers will be a part of the Fox Animation Domination line-up for a time to come.
Bob's Burgers follows Bob Belcher (H. Jon Benjamin), the owner of a burger restaurant that he runs with his wife Linda (John Roberts) and children Tina (Dan Mintz), Gene (Eugene Mirman), and Louise (Kristen Schaal). The third season of the show will find the Belcher family celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas as only they know how, while featuring guest appearances from the likes of Zach Galifianakis, Jon Hamm, Jeffrey Tambor,...

"The Simpsons" are going back to New York next season, and they'll be looking for Zooey Deschanel when they get there.
The "New Girl" star is joining the likes of Johnny Depp ("Family Guy"), Jon Hamm ("Family Guy" and "American Dad"), Sofia Vergara ("The Cleveland Show") and Nick Offerman ("Cleveland" and "Bob's Burgers") in lending her voice to one of Fox's animated shows in 2012-13. Most of the animation lineup premieres Sept. 30, with "The Cleveland Show" coming in a week later on Oct. 7.
Deschanel will play Bart's "long-lost love" in her "Simpsons" episode, and he convinces everyone to go to New York to find her. (Incidentally, Fox's press release calls the Simpsons "America's favorite Midwestern family," so let the where-is-Springfield debate begin anew.)
Other "Simpsons" guests include Steve Carell as Homer's bowling buddy, Patton Oswalt as a seemingly cool new kid in the neighborhood and "Portlandia" stars Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein.

Chicago – Shout Factory has become a spectacular DVD studio for a mix of unexpected releases. They have their stable of classic TV but they also own the rights to some modern favorites which leads to unique box sets like “The Sarah Silverman Program: The Complete Series.” Comedy Central gave up on the cult hit after three seasons and so parent company Paramount decided to also give up on releasing the accompanying DVD reviews. The third season was released by Shout Factory last week and the other three releases from Paramount (season two was split into two volumes) have been compiled into one box set.
Rating: 4.0/5.0
Sarah Silverman is crazy talented. She has a unique comedic voice and it’s a shame that Comedy Central couldn’t find a way to turn that talent into a mega-hit. “The Sarah Silverman Program” may have never taken off like “Chappelle’s Show” but...

There are many notable stories of how celebrities got their start in Hollywood. Charlize Theron was discovered while waiting in line at the bank. Justin Bieber rocketed to fame after posting videos on YouTube. But on the order of improbability, "Bob's Burgers" creator Loren Bouchard has them all beat.
Bouchard explains that in the early 1990s he was living in Boston, not doing that much with his life, when a chance encounter with his eighth grade science teacher changed everything. It just so happened that this teacher was Tom Snyder, the man who was in the process of creating the animated series "Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist."
"I ran into him and he said 'You know, we're just getting started on these one-minute shorts for Comedy Central. Do you still draw?'," Bouchard recalls. "I wasn't even drawing at the time. I had no skill really to offer him. But I lied and said,...

Fox has given animated comedy Bob’s Burgers a back-nine order ahead of the series’ second-season launch in January. Bob’s Burgers premiered in midseason and its initial second-season renewal was for 13 episodes. “Last season, Bob’s Burgers infused our Sunday lineup with a fresh new voice that was fully embraced by our Animation Domination fans,” Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly said. “Loren Bouchard, Jim Dauterive and the team have done an amazing job with the show.” Bouchard created the series, from 20th TV, and is executive producing/writing with Dauterive. Bob’s Burgers follows third-generation restaurateur Bob (the voice of H. Jon Benjamin) as he runs his own burger joint with the help of his wife and their three kids. The series’ voice cast also includes John Roberts, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman and Kristen Schaal. Upcoming guest voices include Kevin Kline as Bob’s eccentric landlord Mr. Fischoeder; Sarah...

Hayden Black first channeled a local area news anchor with career ambitions far beyond reporting on your local area Chuck E. Cheese’s way back in 2006. Gordon Winston-Smythe, Black’s Manchester-born news man trying to make it in a city that’s not quite Los Angeles, is one of just two major components of the web series Goodnight Burbank that haven’t changed in the past five years. The other is the sereis’ premise. The show is still about all the awkward workplace hijinks that take place in, around, and about the newsroom before, during, and after daily news broadcasts. And the focus is still on the back and forth banter between the anchors, who compete for attention from the camera and affections from their crew. But the other major components of the series (namely the cast, the length of the episodes, and the distribution platform) have changed. Today, Goodnight Burbank...

Between its daunting cult status and its decidedly un-romcom themes, it's amazing Haruki Murakami's proto-emo Japanese teen tale ever got made. Coming of age here is a languid, melancholy journey across tragedy, mental illness, sexual frustration and other sorrows, but the tone is beautifully maintained, visually and aurally, and it captures something most youth movies never even attempt to find.

Indie soap The Bay has an unusual plethora of phenomenal legendary soap actors in its cast. But it took an outsider to walk onto the show and shake everything up! Camden Toy: Yes, Camden Toy, that is my real name. People are always asking me my real name. I say, “You think I made that up?”

We Love Soaps TV: We have been loving The Bay so far. Might I say, you are a really scary dude.
Camden Toy: It’s so funny because when I watch it I don’t see it that way.

One way to combat the oppressive heat, I’ve found, is to will myself onto a hypothetical tundra and just sit there (a.k.a. here at my desk) for a while and pretend I am Sanka in the ice cream truck. Bad news for foul-mouthed chick comedy fans: Sarah Silverman's TV show, The Sarah Silverman Program, has been canceled. The Comedy Central show's fate had been in TV limbo for quite some time and Sarah's sister, Laura Silverman, had even launched a Twitter campaign to save the show. Comedy Central had sent the show over to sister network Logo for its third season, but the show was ultimately bumped from its original time slot and not renewed for a fourth season. Silverman, however, is keeping busy by promoting her new...
