When he returned in 1900 from the USA to Europe he continued his stage career and he acted in cities like Hanover and Vienna again.
The actor Julius Strobl began a military career as his father but he had to retire for health reasons. Instead he decided to become an actor and he got his first engagement at the Volkstheater in Vienna. It followed numerous engagements in the next years, among others in Vienna, Berlin and even New York where he appeared from 1892 on at the Irving Place Theater. It followed other cities in the USA.
Julius Strobl joined the film business in 1914 where he soon became an demanded actor too.
