A porn studio fired a longtime producer after its star actress, Nikki Benz, accused him of stomping on her head and choking her out during a shoot ... but the guy's calling Bs. Brazzers -- a porn production company -- tells TMZ ... they've officially cut ties with Tony T., who allegedly went too far during a recent sex scene he directed with Nikki. Nikki claims Tony choked her and stomped on her head in a fit of rage.

(Update: Adds comment from Cal/Osha.) Porn actress Nikki Benz said in a series of tweets that she was assaulted by a porn director who assaulted and choked her with the camera rolling, despite her protests. “Did you see the part where I said cut, where I said I’m not Ok with this? … I said no,” she tweeted, calling out porn company Brazzers for using the director, known as Tony T. “I guess rape scenes are in now, huh?” Attempts to locate Tony T were unsuccessful, in part because more than one performer-director goes by the name Tony T....

[This review originally appeared leading in to Dirty Mind's Belgian release. With the film now appearing at Action Fest we hereby present it to you again.]
Diego has a problem. An accident has left the radically introverted stunt technician with brain damage, his mind no longer able to process concepts like 'risk' or 'consequence'. And if Diego can't recognize potential consequences to himself you can bet he's not about to put any consideration into the consequences for others. But, really, that's not the main problem. The main problem is that Diego is fully aware of his injury and he likes it.
Having toiled long in the shadow of his brother Cisse, a man who lands the jobs and glory and women based on bluster and bravado while Diego himself - the real brains and talent of the organization - remains completely forgotten in the background. And this is his opportunity to change everything, to leave everything he doesn't like about himself in the past. Renaming himself Tony T - TNT - the awkward Diego becomes a smooth talking,...

On last night's George Lopez Show, Dancing With the Stars judge Bruno Tonioli a.k.a. Our Lady of Flowering Metaphors took a few seconds off from redefining the term "spread-eagle" to offer this candid critique of Kate Gosselin's ballroom skills. "Kate is pretty dreadful. She's crap. But In A Nice Way! She's entertaining. People like disaster movies — I'll tell you, we have our own disaster movie. 2012 is nothing compared to the catastrophe she produces, but she's a tough cookie!" He continued: "She gets it on the face." He wishes. Video after the jump. It's a treasure trove of gems!

I’ll just come right out and say it: parody porn may be one of my favorite guilty pleasures. From Bikini Royale to Sex Trek: The Next Penetration, there are plenty of laughs to be had. It’s not even always about the sex itself, but in the various ways and various success the filmmakers achieve in turning a popular property Into a sex film. If you haven’t heard Tony Tedeschi’s Barney Rubble impersonation in The Flintbones, do yourself a favor and check it out. Pure gold. Having gotten that out of the way, let’s move on to the most recent flick to cross my review desk, Hustler’s This Ain’T Ghost Hunters XXX.
This Ain’T Ghost Hunters XXX is another in Hustler’s line of This Aint… parody spoofs, including This Ain’T The Munsters and This Ain’T 90210. Surprisingly, it’s actually a...

[caption id="attachment_14903" align="alignleft" width="300" caption="Dirty Mind"]/caption] Dirty Mind Directed by Peter Van Hees Left Bank director Peter Van Hees tries his hand at offbeat comedy in Dirty Mind, which centers around a conceit that seems promising on paper but winds up as the delivery system for a disappointingly familiar experience. Wim Helsem, impressive in his feature debut, stars as meek stuntman's assistant Diego, who seems to limp from job to job without leaving much of an impression while his more sociable brother Cisse (Robbie Cleiren) gets all the attention. When Cisse's arrogance laeds to injury, Diego steps in on a particularly dangerous stunt and winds up in the hospital. When he awakes, he only wants to be referred to as Tony T (aka TNT), and suddenly acts with an otherworldly sense of confidence and cocksureness. That's meant in the most literal sense possible, as he immediately sets his sights on one of his doctors, Janna (Kristine Van Pellicom...

Dirty Mind opens with a simple conceit of our reality - that the most complex of human experience can be traced back to simple chemical brain functions. It's a fascinating concept, especially for film, but it's also scary territory when trying to lay the groundwork for a narrative that's meant to be meaningful and matter. But it's an anchor the film gladly wears even as it piles on the dramatic weight. It never quite reaches where it's going, but it's achieved something in at least trying. The lowest on the totem pole, Diego (Wim Helsen), is laughed at on the job working with his confident, stunt man older brother Cisse (Robbie Cleiren). He's shy, struggles with a need for love he can't fulfill, and is generally walked upon by everyone until an accident sees him waking up in the hospital as Tony T - a brand new personality that comes complete with cockiness and catch-phrases. He...

Film festivals are often a conumdrum for me because I sometimes wonder how they get started and, more to the point, who picks the films that get shown at them. My problem is that the films selected for many of the festivals don’t usually seem all that appealing (at least to me) and are often a collection of “art for art’s sake” films overwhelmed by their own sense of self-importance.
Fortunately, I don’t have this problem with the Fantastic Fest in Austin, which runs from September 24th to October 1st. The films selected for this festival represent an eclectic mix of genres and filmmakers and what I consider to be some of the most interesting, innovative and creative films being produced today. Sure, they’re not all potential Hollywood blockbusters, nor are they for everyone, but they are all pretty much guaranteed to be interesting, entertaining and in their own way,...

Moving from Pieter Van Hees' great horror film Linkeroever to his next, the equally genre peripheral piece, Dirty Mind, I was really excited. A loser who gets in an accident and wakes up transformed into a stunt man? The possibilities are endless! I envisioned comedy galore, from simple accident shtick humor, ape'ing masculinity, and fart jokes to the holy grail itself, the ménage à trois. Yes, plenty of violence, sick humor, and sex, I was already salivating long before I ever got to see footage. Too bad it didn't work out like that. While there was occasional humor, the film ended up being a drama, and ultimately, a struggle between "Tony T's" conflicting old Jekyll and new Hyde personalities. To put it succinctly,...

Confession time? Confession time.
On one of my first days at the recently completed Fantastic Fest I rode the guest shuttle to some screening or event or other with Belgian director Pieter Van Hees, who was there with his film The Left Bank, an arty little psychological thriller that I’d heard great things about and was looking forward to. As we got chatting about the film I was quick to assure him that I had it one my schedule and was planning on catching the first screening. And then, because I’m an idiot, I missed it. And then the next day we ended up riding on the bus together again. And Pieter offered to give me a screener of the film. No, no, I assured him, I’ll catch the second screening. And then, because I’m an idiot, I missed that one, too. So, sorry, Pieter, I...

We reported on this flick back in August and I've been eagerly awaiting footage ever since, and now we have it! This is from the same Belgian production company behind Linkeroever, and it looks to be not only well shot, but one hell of a ride!
"Shy loser Diego wakes up after an accident and has been transformed into Tony T. a smooth-talking no-holds-barred stuntman. Suffering from a case of Frontal Syndrome he's the perfect case-study for young neurologist Jaana. Everyone hopes that Diego will soon recover, accept for Diego himself."
Oh baby, I so want to see this! Trailer after the break.

We've been following Pieter Van Hees since finding out about the fantastic looking Belgian horror film he directed called Linkeroever (Left Bank) which by the way, is playing at the upcoming Fantastic Fest and yes, I should be getting a screener soon. Anyways, when I inquired when a trailer would be available for Dirty Mind, I figured it was about time to put up a piece on it, especially since there's now some nice stills showcasing the beautiful photography which is signature to Hees films, as well as the rest of his crew of Belgian filmmakers.
