Also starring Ski Carr, Lynna Yee, J. Teddy Garces, Lorin Alond Ly, Dijon Talton, Mier Chasin, and Lizette Hunter. This looks way better than expected, might be worth a watch. Here's the...

I’ve said since the third episode of Glee’s first season that the show’s weakest quality was the filler in between the songs. The writing is embarrassingly inconsistent in tone, the characters are prone to erratic shifts in emotion and motivation, and from one week to the next the show’s threads never really connected. The music though, the music was pretty damn good. The song choices, the mash-ups, and the new arrangements on old classics were and remain little nuggets of gold that the Glee fan has to dig out of each episode. Well stop sifting. Glee Encore singles out the big musical numbers and lets you play them back to back, shuffled, or on an individual basis. It's like the "Glee Jukebox" feature on later Glee season releases but it has them all on one disc, not separated across 3 or 4. From here on out, every season...

News on the march…!
To summarize… I Will Follow will expand to 10 more screens this weekend, with plans to continue to push into even more AMC theaters, but also integrating independent venues, like The Downtown Independent in Los Angeles, and special one-night engagements in a number of cities; and, maybe even more significant, the film will make its international debut with screenings in London and Toronto planned for April.
No box office numbers released for this past weekend though… at least, they aren’t mentioned in the below press release sent out early this morning, so nothing to report there. I did notice that Box Office Mojo has picked up coverage of the film (it wasn’t listed on the site last week); although the site only has totals through the previous, opening weekend, which have already been reported. I’m sure they’ll be released soon enough…

News on the march!
I, like a lot of other folks, were certainly very interested in how well it did in its opening weekend, after the media blitz that lead up to it. And, well, big congrats to Ava DuVernay and the I Will Follow Affrm team. The weekend’s numbers are in, and the film managed an impressive $11,428 per screen average! Doing the math… it opened on just 5 screens, making its weekend box office take close to $60,000!
But the even bigger news is that, thanks to an impressive showing for a film of its caliber, I Will Follow will expand to 22 screens in its second week of release, this weekend! So, be happy Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, Houston, Dallas, Detroit, Oakland, Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, Charlotte and Jersey City, because the film will be opening in your city on Friday! Twelve million fans tuned in for the season-two premiere last night, but by the looks of our mailbag, the episode left some of you with questions about the comings and goings at New Directions. As Mr. Shue mentioned in passing, Matt (Dijon Talton) has transferred schools, dropping the glee club's membership down to just 11. Of course, what actually happened is a little something we like to call "writers' room Darwinism." After Glee blew up into a global phenomenon, all of the onetime background...

“In the history of me teaching as a pro, I've never heard a woman ask, 'Please, grab my boobs, it's safer,’” says Louis Van Amstel on The Bachelor Pad last night. Please, someone disinfect Louis before he goes home to that cute boyfriend of his.

The "Glee" Season 2 premiere is almost here, but until Sept. 21, Zap2it has more details on what to expect when you tune in.
Let's just say that for "Glee" fans, the episode titled "Auditions" is a treat and addresses many of the concerns that were brought up for the second half of the freshman season. That's not to say that everything's perfect at McKinley High, because what would be the fun of that?
Zap2it had the opportunity to screen the first episode back at the "Glee" premiere party Tuesday night (Sept. 7), and we're here to share some of the goodies with you.
Spoiler alert: We won't try to ruin the biggest surprises, but a couple plot points will be addressed, so if you want the full, unsullied experience, don't read any further.
What you'll see:
Jacob Ben Israel (Josh Sussman) gets a good chunk of screen time, and he's hilarious.

Where are Rachel's dads? Can Brittany sing? And other mysteries not resolved in the season finale.
By Jean Bentley
Matthew Morrison and Jayma Mays on the season finale of "Glee"
Photo: Fox
Sure, the "Glee" season finale was relatively cliffhanger-free. William McKinley High's ragtag New Directions weren't able to outperform the soulless automatons of Vocal Adrenaline, but got a stay of execution anyway from Sue Sylvester, allowing them to stick around for another year. Hooray! But not all of the loose ends were tied up. We were left with several unanswered questions that we'd like to see resolved in season two.
Can Brittany, Other Asian (sorry, Mike Chang) and Matt Rutherford sing?
We know Santana (Naya Rivera) can belt out a tune (see: "Like a Virgin," "The Boy Is Mine," "Bad Romance"), but can the other three popular-kids-turned-gleeks? Heather Morris, Harry Shum Jr. and Dijon Talton are fantastic dancers, but...

Glee is coming full circle for its season finale. We started with the smash hit "Don't Stop Believin'" and now it looks like the Glee kids will be singing Journey songs for Regionals. Also, it looks like nearly every famous guest star will be making a re-appearance. The season finale will be airing on June 8 and we have a promo for you below, along with a sneak peek (not great quality, but you're watching for the singing anyways!)

The forecast for the "Glee: Live" tour is sunny ... for taking Los Angeles by storm.
The cast of "Glee" took to the stage at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City on Thursday, May 20 for the first of four performances in La and was greeted warmly (and loudly) by fans. We scored a ticket to that sold-out first performance.
Any self-respecting Gleek would probably know most of the 20-odd song set list by heart already, but seeing it live is well worth the money and effort. Not only is there an elevated, infectious energy you don't get from just watching the show at home, but the feeling of togetherness can't be matched.
Oh, and the singing. One can truly hear the quality of the live vocals, which in the case of Lea Michele is the real deal. She sounds even better than on the show, and for all the haters who...

It's been a year and seven months since the cast of "Glee" got on this crazy train, but this week, the show's first season finally wrapped.
Of course, as Kevin McHale (Artie) points out to Korbi TV, it's sort of a weird milestone for them since their tour rehearsals start Thursday (April 29) and it's not as if they're going their separate ways for the summer. They are, however, getting about 48 hours off, which includes Wednesday, April 28 ... also known as Jenna Ushkowitz's (Tina) birthday. Bonne fete, Jenna!
Thankfully, for "Glee" fans, there are several fresh "Glee" episodes still to air this spring and, just so you know, there's also more Artie-Tina drama to come. Specifically in the episode which Joss Whedon directed and Neil Patrick Harris guests in. "The Tina and Artie thing does not go un-talked about," McHale tells us. "Stuff definitely comes up again." Ushkowitz, however, says the...

An unexpected bonus when Kurt decided to hook his dad up with Finn's mom on "Glee"? Fans got to see a different side of Carole Hudson.
"It was such a touching episode because how many single mothers do we know that are exhausted [like Carole]?" Romy Rosemont, who plays Carole, tells Korbi TV in the video below. "And I love the fact that they gave her this transformation and no more acid-washed jeans, which I was grateful for."
Yes, we are loving the Carole makeover too.
So, now that Carole and Burt (Mike O'Malley) are coupled up, will we be seeing a lot more of them this season?
"We definitely see me," Rosemont says. "We could see more of me if I had my druthers. ... It's a great storyline and it's going to further [in the final episodes this May], but there are so many people to accommodate. But hopefully these characters will grow and the public will...

“Glee” girl Quinn Fabray has given birth to her baby, my friends.
Mazel Tov!
Yes, the filming of the “Glee” finale wrapped Monday (Apr. 26) and instead of going straight to the bar for celebratory drinks and cigars, the cast and producers headed to North Hollywood for an Academy of Television Arts & Sciences event.
The major theme on the carpet?
Everyone wanted to know if the producers will consider having Britney Spears on the show.
Brit Brit’s manager has launched a campaign via Twitter, a fact that has not been lost on the genius minds behind “Glee.”

This past week, "Glee" fans finally got a good solid dose of the vocal stylings of Jane Lynch, courtesy of the show's killer "Vogue" parody -- Yes, that was actually Lynch belting out the lyrics -- But there's apparently quite a bit more where that come from.
"There will be a lot more Sue Sylvester up in this piece," creator Ian Brennan told fans at the filming of the first season finale Wednesday evening when asked if we'd be seeing the character sing again.
I'd say that's a solid plan, no?
And speaking of more Sue Sylvester, Jane Lynch herself came up to the fan section of the auditorium where they were filming this finale scene -- check back with Korbi TV for more on that later -- and answered several questions, much to our delight.
The highlights?
-Her favorite Madonna number from Tuesday's special tribute episode was "Like a Prayer"
-Her favorite Sue line?...

What a lady does behind closed doors is her own business. So much so that we even feel a little dirty writing about this.
But Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays) is a grown woman whom we assume all "Glee" fans were rooting for Tuesday night -- when she attempted to act on her inner Madonna -- and it's clear that she wants to lose "The Big V," as Finn calls it. She just simply isn't ready.
So, when will it happen?
Korbi TV's official bet is before the end of the season.
But several things have to happen first.
Will (Matthew Morrison) has to bang Idina Menzel's character -- you know, just to get it out of his system -- finalize his divorce from Terri and enter into a committed relationship with our girl. And our girl's got to log several hundreds of hours in therapy.
So, okay, maybe not...

In the "Glee" tribute to Madonna, fashions were definitely in focus.
The only problem was that award-winning costume designer Lou Eyrich couldn't just pick up the proper Material Girl attire at the local mall.
Therefore, most of the awesome looks in Tuesday's (April 20) "The Power of Madonna" episode had to be custom-made. Really, where else could you actually buy legwarmers long enough to cover up the "legs" of those stilts-walking Cheerios?
"This was a first for me, and it went so wonderfully when we went to rehearsal," Eyrich told Zap2it. "We bought all the fabric where we usually get it and created these legwarmers. We added white tights to continue the illusion."
The episode was really Jane Lynch's time to shine though, and for her first singing foray on "Glee," "Vogue" was the way to go. Better yet, we got to see Sue Sylvester decked out in a plethora of Madge-wear.

The episode was really Jane Lynch's time to shine though, and for her first singing foray on "Glee," "Vogue" was the way to go. Better yet, we got to see Sue Sylvester decked out in a plethora of Madge-wear.

And while we teased that fans of Artie-Tina might have a certain special moment coming their way tonight (April 20), don't expect it to be without drama.

Meanwhile, her costar Dijon Talton (Matt) is excited for his own upcoming achievement in the series.
"You hear me speak in the back nine!" Talton says.
Finally, right?
Check out the video for their reaction to the incredible fan support they've been getting and their thoughts on the possibility of a Tina-Matt hook up someday...

The "Glee" promotional whirlwind continues! This time, the cast shared their dream guest stars with InStyle, while also mugging for the Instyle photo booth. Chris Colfer's choice is Ellen DeGeneres. "We're like piranhas when guests come on the set," he says.
Creator Ryan Murphy's dream guest star is Olivia Newton-John, but he doesn't have to dream about it anymore. She's going to be singing with Jane Lynch on the show, and is rumored to be playing a judge at Regionals.
Check out the new pictures of the cast below. With these huge smiles, it's clear the cast gets along well. "The chemistry is 100% real," says cast member Dijon Talton -- he plays one of the football players.

The cast of "Glee" wasn't lying when they said that things were about to get spicy for the crew, especially in the romance department. It seems that Mr. Schuester, played by Matthew Morrison, is about to find love with none other than Broadway star Idina Menzel. Wicked!
"I'm trying to heat things up," Menzel teased to MTV News at the spring premiere party for "Glee" on Monday in Los Angeles. "Her name's Shelby. She's a coach of the opposing team, Vocal Adrenaline."
And Shelby not only gets her vocal adrenaline rushing, she apparently has quite the effect on Morrison's character. "She kind of has a romantic interlude with Matt Morrison's character and she has a lot of secrets.

Next month, the stars of "Glee" will hit the road for the aptly titled Glee Live! In Concert! tour just days after wrapping the season. But the castmembers seem so eager to perform live, they're not complaining about the workload before their four-city jaunt, kicking off May 18 in Phoenix.
"So, we wrap after the 26th of this month and then two days later we start our tour rehearsals," Dijon Talton (Matt) explained to MTV News before "Glee" returned for the second half of its first season on Tuesday night. "Every day, Monday through Sunday, for a couple weeks, and then we go on tour for a couple weeks, four cities, I believe. They are mostly sold out,...
