Miguel Tejada-Flores is a screenwriter whose first credit, Revenge of the Nerds, was an international phenomenon, and generated three sequels. Miguel has created and written epic sci-fi movies (Screamers), suspense thrillers ('The Unsaid'), and also received a writing credit ('story material by') on Disney's animated film, 'The Lion King'.
Miguel has written iconic and 'cult' horror films, including 'Fright Night II', 'Frankenstein's Army', and 'Beyond Re-Animator'. He was head writer and producer of the critically acclaimed Sy-Fy Channel series, 'Welcome to Paradox'. He has written genre-bending movies for major networks (Atomic Dog, Swarmed, and Border Patrol, among others).
Most recently, Miguel created, wrote and executive produced 'S.O.Z.: Soldiers or Zombies', the ground-breaking Spanish language zombie series for Amazon Latinoamerica, released by Amazon Prime in more than 200 countries worldwide. Miguel is preparing two new projects: the 1st, a shocking 'true crime' thriller, with his S.O.Z. partner, the Argentine producer Nicolás Entel; the 2nd, a horror film inspired by Día de Muertos, to be co-helmed by the Mexican director Sharon Toribio and the legendary horror filmmaker Brian Yuzna.
