The best part about watching movies is probably the easter eggs hidden in plain sight. For comedy genius Adam Sandler, the easter egg is none other than his wife, Jackie Sandler. (née Titone). The couple tied the knot all the way back in 2003 and have two beautiful daughters together, Sadie and Sunny. Adam Sandler’s family members have made many cameos in his films. For example, his daughters played a role in the Hotel Transylvania franchise. However, it is Jackie Sandler who takes the cake here!

Fans of the comedic star may not realize how often they see Adam Sandler's kids in his movies as well as other family members, like Sadie Sandler and Sunny Sandler, and his wife, Jacqueline. On top of starring in hit movies, Sandler produces them as well through his film production company, Happy Madison Productions. This has allowed Sandler more control over his projects, which includes embracing his desire to bring his family into his work.
Sandler's wife, Jacqueline, is an actress and a model. Besides starring in her husband's films, Jackie has appeared in movies such as The Last Summer and TV series like Kevin Can Wait. Sandler's two daughters, Sadie and Sunny, also make frequent appearances in their father's films. While some Sandler family appearances are more prominent, others can be more difficult to spot. Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler returned to play Nick and Audrey Spitz in the 2023 sequel to their film, Murder Mystery. The long-time friends had fun on the set as it was their third collaboration. However, Sandler found one thing frustrating about filming scenes with Aniston. He jokingly shared that the Friends actress was terrible in the kissing scenes between them.

Contrary to what some snarky paparazzi and fashionistas may believe, Adam Sandler’s signature sloppy fits are not a bit, nor are they an embarrassment to his much more presentable wife Jackie Sandler. In fact, she’s the one who bought him those goofy socks.
In 2021, a writer for the taste-making fashion magazine Vogue named the Happy Madison movie magnate Sandler as the year’s “fashion icon,” a title that came off as sarcastic to anyone who had ever seen Sandler sport a hoodie and flip-flops on the red carpet. Despite the derelict state of his daily fits, Sandler represented a sort of trailblazing iconoclast who could challenge the snobbery of haute couture in the settings where expensive designer clothing is the norm.
As such, “Sandlercore” became both a meme and a movement within the fashion community, and the Sandman himself has since embraced the title of “fashion icon” that...

Omg, it's finally happened.
Adam Sandler fans are getting a Happy Gilmore 2, nearly 30 years in the making.
The sequel of the 1996 hit comedy is a dual project between Netflix and Happy Madison Productions, Sandler's company.
Sandler hooked a generation of viewers with his crass, blue-collar character infiltrating one of the most white-collar sports.
With his anger management issues and working-class mannerisms, we felt like he was one of us. And we couldn't help but root for him to win.
Happy Gilmore couldn't cut it as a hockey player, but it turned out he was hellah good at golf -- with a custom hockey stick golf club.
And fans loved him, turning golf into a spectator sport that drew all the wrong crowds.
At least, that's how Shooter McGavin -- played by Christopher McDonald -- felt. He tried so hard to earn that gold jacket, only to lose it to a scuzzy amateur golfer wannabe.

Adam Sandler may be an icon himself but he admits he gets a bit nervous anytime he’s around global superstar Taylor Swift.
During a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, Sandler and host Conan O’Brien were talking about stars they idolized growing up, and how newer celebrities don’t typically have the same effect on them.
“What I have found is that people can be absolute icons, make the biggest stars in the world, but if they came along five years ago, I’m very happy to meet them, but they don’t have that effect on me. I’m not like, ‘Oh my, oh my God,’ you know, the way I would be from anybody that I saw [growing up],” O’Brien explained.
But the Murder Mystery 2 actor revealed there’s one 21st-century celebrity that he gets starstruck over.

Adam Sandler’s daughter Sunny Sandler is now a movie star in her own right, but before she had a clear sense of how Hollywood works, she wasn’t thrilled about seeing her dad kiss actresses for his films.
Sandler appeared as a guest on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Tuesday to promote his new Netflix animated feature, Leo, in which his daughters, Sadie and Sunny, join him in the voice cast. “Leo” embodies Sandler’s peculiar sense of humor, this time in a movie specifically designed for young ones, starring Leo, a 74-year-old talking lizard.

It’s a cool indie weekend when the new album by André 3000, New Blue Sun, has morphed into a “cinematic listening experience.” Variance Films is putting the experience, directed by Terence Nance, into three theaters in NYC (IFC Center), LA (Cinepolis Inglewood) and Atlanta (Tara).
Right now, it’s just those locations but after this weekend, “We will see what happens, where the wind takes us,” said Variance CEO Dylan Marchetti. “I swear, I wanted to make a ‘visual album’ but this is literally the way the wind blew me this time,” André has said.
Asked what’s is on the screen, Marchetti said, “Vibes.”
New Blue Sun, out today, is André’s debut solo album, his first full-length LP since his group Outkast released its last record 17 years ago. He described it as “an entirely instrumental album centered around woodwinds; a celebratory piece of work in the form of a living,...

At a comedy show on Wednesday, actor Adam Sandler paused his performance to make sure an audience member was okay.
In a video captured by a fan, Sandler pointed the medical personnel to the person from the stage. He directed, “Okay, here we go – oh wait up guys, right down there. On the left. Let’s go.”
Medical staff made their way into the audience with a stretcher in tow. “Alright, let’s get there, y’all. Everything should be alright. Alright, alright, alright…. We’ll be a few minutes, guys,” Sandler said.
He told the crowd, “Let’s take a few seconds, we’ll just let these guys concentrate, alright? Love y’all.”
Once sure that the audience member had received the appropriate care he needed, Sandler said, “We’re all wishing you well there, youngster, feel better back there. Sorry about that… I hope everybody’s good, everybody’s alright.

Since the early days of his career on "Saturday Night Live," Adam Sandler has established himself as one of Hollywood's most prolific actors, producers, and filmmakers - not to mention comedians! Adam's versatile approach to comedy along with his recurring collaborations with friends on screen draw audiences to his movies and keep viewers coming back for more. The "Hustle" star is known for bringing his fellow actor and comedian friends to star in his film projects, like Kevin James, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, and David Spade. But he notably incorporates his family - especially his wife, Jackie Sandler - into his movies as well.
Recently, Jackie played a particularly big role in Adam's latest Netflix movie "You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah," which also stars their daughters, Sadie and Sunny. She also voices a character in Adam's upcoming animated feature, "Leo," which also includes their two daughters.

In the film, Sandler stars as the titular 74-year-old lizard, who has shared a terrarium with a turtle named Squirtle (Bill Burr) in the same Florida classroom for decades. After learning he only has a year left to live, the jaded pet plots an escape to the outside world, but ends up bonding with the students in this year’s class instead after they find out he can talk. “This is a tough time, but these are the best years,” he tells one student.
Leo was directed by Robert Marianetti, David Wachtenheim, and Saturday Night Live alum Robert Smigel, the latter of whom co-wrote the movie with Sandler and Paul Sado.

Adam Sandler produced a comical yet meaningful film in You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah and the Netflix movie is filled with funny and heartwarming quotes that add to its appeal. Produced by Sandler's Happy Madison Productions, You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah is a Sandler family affair. Sandler stars as Danny, the father of Ronnie and Stacy who are played by his real-life daughters Sadie and Sunny Sandler. Meanwhile, Sandler's wife, Jackie Sandler, plays the mother of Stacy's best friend.
The film follows Danny's younger daughter, Stacy, on her journey to her bat mitzvah, which is a coming-of-age ritual in the Jewish faith. Like a typical 13-year-old, Stacy makes her fair share of mistakes but finds her way in the end. You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah has received good critical reception, and much of its appeal comes from its witty and relatable dialogue.

You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah stands out for its nepotism in Hollywood, but in a good way, as it features multiple Sandler family members in great performances. The movie challenges the typical criticism of nepotism in the entertainment industry, as the Sandler family's involvement was intended from the start and did not take away opportunities from other actors. Despite nepotism claims, the film has received positive reviews, earning Adam Sandler his highest Rotten Tomatoes score and praise for the performances of his daughter, Sunny, among others.

"Saturday Night Live" vet and comedy movie icon Adam Sandler and his wife Jackie Sandler are all about the movies. The two met on the set of his 1999 film "Big Daddy" and since then, Jackie has continued to have roles in many of Adam's films. Better yet, Adam and Jackie's two daughters, Sadie and Sunny, are in the business too, and their star power has only grown through the years.
Adam's daughters started out in the business with bit parts in his films, including those that his production company, Happy Madison, produced that he was not in. Los Angeles, Sept 2 (Ians) Actor-comedian Adam Sandler’s daughter got a lot of notoriety for her series ‘You are so not invited to my Bat Mitzvah’, (also called Yasnitmbm) despite the show’s high positive ratings due to audiences calling her role “a nepo kid’s privilege.”
In response to this, Adam Sandler has defended casting his daughters in starring roles alongside himself. Asked about the ‘nepo kid’ controversy, Sandler had admitted that while he cast his friends and family members, he doesn’t do it if he doesn’t see any potential in them.
Adding to his rebuttal of the argument, the series producer-director Sammi Cohen also chimed in and said, “Sandler has a reputation for making movies with his friends, and that’s something we all want to do. What I say is, he’s still making movies with his friends, but they’re his kids.”

Released Friday, My Bat Mitzvah is a Sandler family affair, with Sandler playing Danny Friedman, father to daughters Stacy (Sunny Sandler) and Ronnie (Sadie Sandler), who are portrayed by Adam Sandler’s real-life teen children. Adam Sandler drew raves for his performance in “Uncut Gems,” but his latest Netflix movie, “You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah,” has so far gotten even better critics’ reviews, as well as raves for his youngest daughter, Sunny.

Adam Sandler has a new all-time best-reviewed movie.
The actor-comedian’s latest Netflix title, You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah, has managed to draw a higher Rotten Tomatoes score than any of his previous films across 34 years of making movies.
The teen comedy — which began streaming Friday — has a 96 percent “Fresh” score on the site.
That just edges out 2022’s Hustle (93 percent), 2017’s The Meyerowitz Stories (92 percent) and 2019’s Uncut Gems (91 percent). Having said that, there’s always the possibility that additional negative reviews for Bat Mitzvah could alter the standings later in the week.

Sammi Cohen has joked that Adam Sandler and Idina Menzel's 'You’re So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah' relationship is the prelude to their 'Uncut Gems' roles.Adam and Idina play a happily married couple in 'Bat Mitzvah' but they portrayed an estranged husband and wife in the 2019 movie 'Uncut Gems' and director Cohen sees some similarities between the two couples. She told Variety: "Idina is the best. Adam really loved working with her on 'Uncut Gems'. I joke that 'Bat Mitzvah' is like the happy side of their marriage, the prelude to 'Uncut Gems'. We wanted the Friedman family to feel warm, sweet, goofy, normal, relatable; she was just the perfect fit. And she’s also incredibly talented and on top of that is just a really lovely human being."The movie is a family affair for Adam, whose daughters Sunny and Sadie play the Bat Mitzvah...

We all know that Adam Sandler likes working with people he knows. The movies he produces with his production company Happy Madison regularly feature Kevin Nealon, Rob Schneider, and other cast members from his Saturday Night Live days. Many of his movies also feature supporting turns from guys you only see in Happy Madison flicks, like Alan Covert and Peter Dante. And, of course, he loves to cast Jennifer Aniston and Drew Barrymore as his love interests.
So it’s no surprise that Sandler’s latest Netflix movie You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzah sees him once again paired with Idina Menzel, who played his wife in Uncut Gems. But Sandler isn’t the star of You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah, a comedy based on the 2005 YA novel by Fiona Rosenbloom. Instead, it’s Sunny Sandler and Samantha Lorraine in the lead roles,...

Adam Sandler long ago perfected the art of working with his friends. So what’s next? Now, he’s taking that same approach of working with people he already knows and loves to generate a platform, through his Happy Madison production shingle and streaming giant Netflix, for his own daughters Sunny and Sadie Sandler to shine.
Is it still nepotism if it’s this blatant? Probably — but in an added twist, Sandler’s choice to bolster his daughters comes with a pleasant surprise: it works, and well.
Directed by Sammi Cohen, this new entry in the Sandler-family-business model, “You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah” is an endearing take on the coming-of-age tween film, with a heavy dose of religion — in the best way. Sunny Sandler stars as Stacy, a sweet 13-year-old who dreams of a blow-out bash bat mitzvah, one heavy on the New York City influences and Lmfao bangers,...
