Episode 95 of Dragon Ball Z was a historical episode of the franchise. Why? Because it was the first time that Goku transformed into Super Saiyan. Yes, the same legendary move that opened the door to more powerful transformations in the future.
In this episode, Goku is pushed to intense rage after Frieza murders Krillin. For the first time, Goku gained a golden aura, with blonde hair and the determination to end Frieza. The transformation not only shocked the antagonist, but also every impressionable child who saw it, and later tried to act it out themselves.
Yet, Akira Toriyama admits to never actually wanting to debut the Super Saiyan mode. For him, it was the last door to knock on.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is hitting everyone’s nostalgia buttons in the best ways possible. As a resurrection of the beloved Budokai Tenkaichi series, Bandai Namco’s upcoming title is going to be a treat for fans of fighting games and the franchise.
The most important aspect of fighting games such as this is the character roster. Not only does it have to be robust, but it has to feature not only prominent characters but also those with a cult following. Thankfully, Sparking Zero is going to do both, as we have confirmation of a particular character that rarely gets screen time.
This Character is Coming from the Future to Lend a Hand
Two-handed Kamehamehas are no longer the norm.
Akira Toriyama’s universe has grown exponentially, in a very literal sense. With all the different off-shoots of Dragon Ball, we have new characters entering the fray from all angles.

Although One Piece is labeled as an action fantasy anime and manga series, Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece has done a brilliant job in introducing other genres in the series. He has captured the essence of the real world and perfectly drew it in his story. The series has comedy, sadness, fear, excitement, amusement, and much more.
The Straw Hat Pirates in One Piece
All of these emotions are the reason why the series is at the top of its game even after 20+ years in the anime and manga industry. Not only that, the creator has also introduced many themes that are not solely focused on action, but deal with concepts like slavery, discrimination, political dictatorship, etc.

Roronoa Zoro, the swordsman of the Straw Hat Pirates in One Piece has been working hard to achieve his dream of becoming the Strongest swordsman in the world. He has defeated some major opponents in the story who are deemed insanely powerful. However, he is still a long way from earning the title.
Roronoa Zoro
According to the narrative, if Zoro wants to accomplish his dream, he will have to defeat Dracule Mihawk, who is the strongest swordsman in the world right now. As of current strength levels, Mihawk is way above Zoro as he is not only insanely strong, but he also wields the only black blade in One Piece, thus making him the final boss in Zoro’s quest.
However, there is a theory that states that Zoro’s final opponent won’t be Mihawk. It will be his own death. And this theory is majorly supported by...

Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece has been a huge success since its serialization in 1997. The series earned a place as one of “The Big Three” works that became the pillar of Shonen Jump. However, the series has not always been so popular. When the series was first released, Oda and One Piece had quite a lot of haters who believed the series would be an epic failure.
Straw Hat Pirates (Credit: Toei Animation)
One of these haters was Dragon Ball’s first editor Kazuhiko Torishima who worked at Shueisha in 1976 and currently is the outside director at Bushiroad. Torishima worked closely with Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball, and Dr. Slump and was one of the main reasons why Dragon Ball became a huge success.
But Torishima had no trust in Oda or One Piece. He openly criticized One Piece and believed that it wouldn’t amount to anything.

There are always some mangas and anime that help pave the way for other artists; Eiichiro Oda and Jujutsu Kaisen writer Gege Akutami understand that very well. For Akutami though, the credit goes to Tite Kubo, the creator of Bleach.

Kagurabachi and One Piece are not really connected, aside from being shonen works published by the same publisher in Japan. But, while the similarities are not that numerous, Kagurabachi author Takeru Hokazono has decided to pay tribute to Eiichiro Oda’s masterpiece in the most recent chapter of his popular manga by having the protagonist of his manga, Chihiro Rokuhira, recreate Roronoa Zoro’s swordsmanship style from Oda’s series.
Such tributes are not uncommon in the world of manga; numerous authors have openly admitted to paying tribute to Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball in their works, regardless of the fact that their works have little in common with Toriyama’s, so this doesn’t come as a surprise. Naruto is one of the most well-written manga in the history of anime. Masashi Kishimoto’s magnum opus began in 1999 and ended in 2015. It became a pillar of the anime and manga industry and guided it to its boom period. Naruto Uzumaki’s journey is pretty emotional and inspiring, but initially, Masashi Kishimoto had thought of a different plot for his magnum opus.
The initial plot was nothing like the one the fans experienced today. It was simpler and had no fancy stuff. It has been almost a decade since Kishimoto sensei revealed this fascinating fact about Naruto’s original plot. The idea was discarded by the editor, but Kishimoto sensei did include the idea in Naruto and carried it on throughout.

The concept of monsters battling each other has been a central theme since the inception of the Godzilla franchise with the release of the very first Godzilla film in the 1950s. This idea of colossal creatures engaged in epic battles to the death continues to be popular, almost 70 years after its birth. The latest film bearing the Godzilla name is Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire and it featured a very unique take on Godzilla – the kaiju was pink. Not only that, but some fans have deducted the nationality of every major titan in the film.

Katsuki Bakugo, one of the strongest students in My Hero Academia has been working hard to achieve his goal of surpassing All Might and becoming the number one hero. Along the way, he has made quite a name for himself, but it may not be entirely because of Bakugo’s quirk or his achievements.
He is majorly known for being an angry, frustrated character who just needs an excuse to rant out on others. Bakugo is often observed acting irrationally or in an impolite manner, even towards his family and professors.

While the series has never officially revealed the reason behind his anger, there have been multiple theories all over the internet that explain his rage.

Naruto is one of the most popular anime of all time. Masashi Kishimoto began writing the manga in 1999, and in 2001, it was adapted into an anime. The anime ended in 2017 after Naruto Uzumaki fulfilled his lifelong dream of becoming the Hokage. It is one of the Big Three of anime and had a massive role in turning anime mainstream.
Naruto ended seven years ago, but people still prefer it over new-generation anime. Even though the Naruto franchise is regarded as one of the greatest, initially, the creator had thought of a not-so-engaging plot for his magnum opus. Masashi Kishimoto was forced to change his story and create a new one. It proved to be a generation story and his greatest work to date.

One of late Akira Toriyama’s most interesting Japanese manga series Sand Land might have been fairly underrated or neglected in the past. However, that has changed in the past couple of years. The attempt to celebrate Toriyama’s work includes the release of a movie and an anime that has helped push the series.

Another latest endeavor to further expand the reach of the series is the upcoming video game adaptation. The game adaptation of Sand Land is being developed by Ilca. Interestingly, it is the team that worked on last year’s One Piece Odyssey. The upcoming game will explore how Fiend Prince and his companion’s adventures bring life back to a desolate wasteland.
Makers want Sand Land to reach a larger audience
In an interview with The Gamer, Sand Land‘s producer, Keishu Minami, spilled the tea about adapting and expanding Akira Toriyama’s manga.

The original Sand Land story has been expanded
Sand Land being adapted into a game is not surprising since it is the legendary Toriyama’s work. However, when the news of its adaptation first broke out, it raised some eyebrows. This was mainly because Sand Land is relatively short. It is based on a deliberately brief and linear plot with only 14 chapters.
