He is officially one of the fastest kickers in the world.
In 1979 implemented kickboxing into his arsenal. He soon gained the nickname 'Golden Boy' after his first big wins in
1981. He currently holds the rank of 6th-degree black belt. He still trains and teaches.
He was discovered for TV and movies after retiring in 1989. He has
since then been in movies with some of the greatest such as Jet Li and
Bolo Yeung. He was also nominated for the Taurus Award for his work in
Charlie's Angels (2000).

FFKA #1 in the World, Kentucky, Georgia, Southeast and United States
Championship titles, PKA Light Welterweight World Kickboxing Champion,
and PKC Light Welterweight World Kickboxing Champion.
In 2019 Jerry Trimble was inducted into the World Kickboxing League Hall of Fame.
In 2018 Jerry Trimble received the Joe Lewis Eternal Warrior Award at the 50th Anniversary Battle of Atlanta.
