A new episode of The Arrow in the Head Show has just been released, and for this one our hosts John “The Arrow” Fallon and Lance Vlcek have decided to talk about the 1986 sci-fi horror classic Critters (watch it Here). To find out what they think of this movie, check out the video embedded above!
Directed by Stephen Herek, who also wrote the screenplay with Domonic Muir, Critters has the following synopsis:
When strange fuzzy creatures from outer space arrive on a farm, the Brown family — Jay, Helen, their daughter April, and their son Brad — must fend off the malevolent little aliens. Two bounty hunters with superhuman abilities follow the aggressive beasts from beyond, but the warriors aren’t terribly effective, leaving the Brown family to battle the fur balls and rescue April from their clutches all by themselves.

Giving props to the hottest shows and stars rocking the airwaves during the day, the 2013 Daytime Emmy Awards nominees were just unveiled.
And the top nod-getter this year is “The Young and The Restless” with 23 chances at glory, while “General Hospital” nabbed 19 mentions.
“Days of Our Lives” and “Sesame Street” both tied for third place thanks to 17 nominations each, and there are plenty of other big names on the list as well.
The 2013 Daytime Emmy Awards will take place on June 16th. The nominees are:

The Young and the Restless tallied 23 nominations as honors were announced this morning for the 40th annual Daytime Emmy Awards. Restless’ impressive take helped CBS lead all networks with 50 overall nominations. PBS and ABC followed, with 44 and 38 nods, respectively.
General Hospital, which earned 19 nominations, joined Restless in the race for Outstanding Drama Series, and Sesame Street received 17 nods, including three for Kevin Clash, the voice of Elmo who faces allegations of sexual misconduct.
Good Morning America and Today will bring their ratings rivalry to the Emmys, where they’ll be joined by CBS Sunday Morning in the Outstanding Morning Program category.

Luke Perry, JoAnna Garcia, Helen Shaver and Kenneth Welsh have signed on to star in the holiday telefilm A Very Merry Daughter of the Bride, set to air in December on Lifetime.
The movie, set at Christmastime, centers on Roxanne (Garcia), a twentysomething wedding planner who disapproves of her widowed mother Rose's (Shaver) whirlwind romance with a middle-aged businessman, Jack (Welsh).
Roxanne tries to find a way to persuade her mother that the upcoming wedding is a bad idea and partners with Jack's disgruntled son Charlie (Perry). But an unexpected romantic development forces Roxanne to re-examine her feelings.
Leslie Hope is directing Bride from a script by Scott Eastlick and Nadine Van Der Veld. The movie is from Nomadic Pictures, with Chad Oakes and Mike Frislev producing.
Garcia -- known for her role as Reba's daughter Cheyenne on Reba, which airs in syndication on Lifetime -- co-stars in CBS' new comedy Welcome to the Captain, which debuts Feb. 4. She is repped by WMA and 3 Arts Entertainment.
