It’s hard to believe how many hurdles Seal Team has survived throughout its run.
The hit military drama started as a CBS original and was moved to Paramount+ as a streaming original several years ago amid concerns for its future.
After beating the odds for so many years, we’re about to say goodbye for good as Seal Team Season 7 will conclude the David Boreanaz-led drama.
While the seventh season was ordered over a year ago, fans have been anxiously awaiting word on a premiere date.
Thankfully, Boreanaz took to Instagram to share an update on the premiere date and a first look at the script for the series finale.
The actor noted that the “last word is on the table,” before sharing, “August here we come.”

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for Blue Bloods Season 14 Episode 2, “Dropping Bombs.”] What if Frank Reagan retires from the NYPD because times are changing? Blue Bloods Season 14 Episode 2 hinted that Tom Selleck‘s character’s job could be on the line with the introduction of a new plan from Mayor Peter Chase (Dylan Walsh). Mayor Chase reveals in a news interview at the top of the episode that he’s considering replacing the singular Police Commissioner position, Frank’s long-held title, with a Commission of Police. This would be a five-person committee comprised of experienced and diverse members of the police force. Chase makes it clear that he doesn’t want to replace Frank; rather, he implies Frank could be one of the committee’s five members. But why make this move after the two connected in the Season 14 premiere? Perhaps this is Chase’s solution for Frank feeling “lonely at the top,” as they said...

Chrissy Beppo’s baby daddy is officially back in action. Erik Valdez on Tuesday posted a selfie from his trailer on the set of Superman & Lois, confirming his return in the CW drama’s upcoming fourth and final season.
One of the last remaining original scripted shows on the network, Superman & Lois‘ Season 4 renewal came with a few major caveats. Not only was its traditional episode order reduced, but only five actors would be returning as series regulars, leaving fans to wonder how much of the show’s ensemble cast — including Valdez as Kyle Cushing — would still have a presence on the show.

Blue Bloods‘ February 16 premiere marks the beginning of the end of the beloved cop drama. And in the TV Insider exclusive Blue Bloods key art below, Tom Selleck stands alone as Frank Reagan. The poster for the CBS procedural’s final season focuses on its star, who looks concerned and pensive in the image, which also features a faded New York City skyline. This could reflect the police commissioner’s inner turmoil to be seen at the beginning of Blue Bloods‘ final season, which will force him to grapple with a tough decision. Frank will have to pick a side on Mayor Chase’s (Dylan Walsh) new policy decision about migrants’ right to shelter in New York. Will Frank publicly support the mayor, or will he go his own way? Perhaps the concern on his face is due to his son, Sgt. Jamie Reagan’s (Will Estes), who’s involved...

Blue Bloods is getting ready to sign off after more than a decade on the air. The CBS drama about a tight-knit family of New York City cops will end with its upcoming 14th season, which premieres Feb. 16. But not everyone is ready for the show to end, series star Tom Selleck says.

In November 2023, CBS announced that Blue Bloods Season 14 would be the last for the show, even though it is one of the most-watched dramas on broadcast TV. The police procedural averaged 9.4 million viewers in season 13. That means there are plenty of people who are going to miss spending Friday evenings with the Reagan family.
“CBS will find an awful lot of people aren’t ready to say goodbye to it,” Selleck told TV Insider.

It’s the Kent family reunion we never thought we’d see: Bitsie Tulloch on Friday shared a snapshot of herself on the SAG-AFTRA picket alongside Superman & Lois co-star Wolé Parks. And who’s that next to them? Why, it’s none other than Jordan Elsass, who played Tulloch’s on-screen son Jonathan for the CW drama’s first two seasons.

As budget cuts hit The CW's returning original programming, several stars will not be on the shows next season as series regulars.
All American: Homecoming is the latest show to announce its changes ahead of next season.
According to Deadline, Peyton Alex Smith, who plays Damon Sims on the series, will not be back as a series regular.
If you watch All American: Homecoming online, you know Damon has been pivotal since All American: Homecoming Season 1 Episode 1.
While casting changes were expected, it's surprising Smith is one of the actors to have their contract changed.
There's no confirmation whether the actor will stage a comeback in a recurring or guest capacity.
Time will tell, but hopefully, he will appear on-screen to wrap up Damon's storyline if the actor decides against accepting the contract.
Additionally, Kelly Jenrette, who plays Bringston University president Amara Patterson, will return as a recurring player.

We knew it was coming, but it doesn't make it any less upsetting.
Seven series regulars have been let go from The CW's Superman & Lois ahead of season 4.
The news comes the same week the show eked out a 10-episode renewal for the 2023-24 season with the caveat that there would be budget cuts.
We already reported that Dylan Walsh was departing as General Sam Lane, and now, six other beloved cast members are joining him, Deadline reports.
Buckle up because this isn't easy to report.
The Lang family is no more as Emmanuelle Chriqui (as Mayor Lana Lang), Erik Valdez (as Lana's ex-husband Kyle Cushing), and Inde Navarrette (as Lana and Kyle's daughter Sarah) are all being written out.
The bad news extends to the Irons family, with Wolé Parks (as Superman's ally John Henry Irons) and Tayler Buck (as John Henry's daughter Natalie) also not landing...

When we first reported that Superman & Lois was renewed for a fourth season at The CW, there was a major caveat:
The VFX-heavy drama's budget had to come down to make renewal more feasible for the network.
There were reports that reducing the budget would mean trimming the cast.

The notion of creators getting haunted or mentally oppressed by their creations was brilliantly explored in Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein”. The legendary English poet William Blake, whom Eric Robert’s character, Detective Dibiasse, appropriately mentions in the movie, too was a victim of his own sensitive and vivid imagination and claimed to have witnessed visions of his creations throughout his lifetime. However, the mention of the visionary bard in director Ezio Messa’s “Alter Ego,” a psychological thriller that is less thrilling than it is hilarious, comes off as blasphemy. Except for Dylan Walsh and Eric Robert’s characters, who seem to be falling victim to bad project choices at the tail ends of their respective careers, the supporting characters come off more as caricatures. Season Three of the live-action TV drama series, "Superman and Lois", debuted actor Michael Cudlitz ("Band of Brothers") as 'Lex Luthor', looking like the 'Walter White'/'Bryan Cranston' version of the DC Comics supervillain character:
"...weeks after the defeat of 'Ally Allston', 'Clark' (Tyler Hoechlin) and 'Lois' (Elizabeth Tulloch) are now working at the 'Smallville Gazette' together and enjoying small town life. But the Kents’ romantic bliss only shines a light on how isolating 'the secre' can be, as 'Chrissy' (Sofia Hasmik) struggles to balance a new love interest and her friendship with Lois.
"However Lois’ own work-life balance is put to the test when an undercover assignment reveals a deadly foe that promises to change the 'Kent' family forever. Superman would move heaven and earth for his family, but with a villain this merciless, even that might not be enough.
"Meanwhile, the...
