Granddaughter of François Mauriac.
Daughter of Ivan Vladimirovich, Prince Wiazemsky, Count Levachov, and wife Claire Mauriac.
Later in life, she wrote several books, including a novel, "Canines," which received the Prix Goncourt, France's most prestigious literary award. Another novel, "Une poignée de gens" ("A Handful of People"), received the grand prize of the French Academy. She wrote two books about her life with Godard.
