Fred Wise committed suicide on January 18th, 1966 after arguing with his wife in their 7th floor apartment. Leaving their 12 yr old daughter asleep in another room, Wise's wife left the apartment to take a walk & let her husband cool down. Rounding the corner of 92nd Street, his wife saw his crumpled body on the sidewalk below their apartment window.
