I just finished the second season of Mindhunter and it was freakin’ incredible! It’s easily one of the best shows you can watch right now. Netflix has yet to renew it for a third season, but when creator David Fincher pitched the series to Netflix, he wanted it to run for five seasons.
During a recent interview with THR, Holt McCallany, who plays FBI agent Bill Tench on Mindhunter, offered some insight on Fincher’s plan for the series, saying:
“He said ‘Listen, are you ready to do this for five seasons? Because even if I fuck it up, it’s gonna go five seasons, and I don’t intend to fuck it up.’ So I’d like to think that we will continue, for as long as David is intrigued by telling this particular story.”
So, hopefully Netflix stops playing with our emotions soon and renews the damn series for Season 3 already!

After a very long wait for season 2, Netflix has finally delivered another dose of Mindhunter, but as viewers wrap up another delicious bingeing session, questions are now hanging in the air over whether a third season of the dark FBI profiling drama is in the pipeline.
While no official announcement has yet been offered by the streaming giant, Mindhunter star Holt McCallany, who plays special agent Bill Tench in the well-received series, has been teasing some major changes in Mindhunter season 3, if it happens as planned. The actor has told THR that Mindhunter season 3 may be in for "a complete reimagining", as part of a shooting location change from Pittsburgh to a new mystery area, and if you're a fan of the long serial killer interview scenes that bookmarked the first two seasons,...
