Kensington Tallman is a young American actress best known for her vividly nuanced performance as 'Riley Anderson' in Disney & Pixar's Inside Out 2. Kensington is currently starring as the lead role in Max/BBC international music-filled comedy, Home Sweet Rome!
In addition to Inside Out 2, Kensington's 2024 film credits include Roadside Attractions, Summer Camp, credited alongside Diane Keaton, Kathy Bates, Eugene Levy, and Alfre Woodard, playing a young Kathy Bates. Previously, Kensington had breakout roles as a series regular on Nickelodeon's Drama Club as 'Bianca Magic' and a recurring role across all seasons as 'Tiffany Highlander' on That Girl Lay Lay.
Kensington also lends her voice to several animated series. She will reprise her role as 'Riley Anderson' in the highly anticipated Disney+ Inside Out Spinoff series, Dream Productions. Her previous work includes Disney Jr.'s Firebuds , Nick Jr.'s Bossy Bear, Blaze and the Monster Machines, and Table Read Podcast's PV & Franny playing the lead role of PV opposite Ty Burrell and Fred Armisen.
Previously, Kensington guest-starred in the TBS comedy, Chad, opposite Nasim Pedrad and played a unique role on Showtime's Black Monday, playing a young Ivanka Trump. She is an exceptional talent, uniquely able to transform into multiple characters and personas.
Kensington's zeal for performing reflects her deep desire to encourage others. She also has written and conceptualized several sketches for Nickelodeon's Comedy Shorts Showcase. Her musical passions include singing, playing the ukulele, and piano.
Her drive to perform with excellence was cultivated in New York City, where she spent her formative years. Kensington's love of people, adventure, and storytelling has given her a positive and creative outlook on all that life brings her way.
Off camera, Kensington is a straight-A student, a member of the National Honor Society, and a high school graduate at 15. She will attend college in the of fall 2024, majoring in film studies. Kensington loves learning languages and can speak conversational Italian with ease. She enjoys aerial arts, stunt work, yoga, singing and playing music, crocheting, and drawing.
Kensington is a mental health advocate for her Gen Z peers, and has spoken on several panels including Deepak Chopra's Sages + Scientists Symposium at Harvard University. She is the Brand Ambassador for Girl Well, a non-profit that aims to make self-care more equitable and accessible to those in need.
An animal lover, a proud vegan, and an advocate for animal rights, Kensington works with Peta 2 and has volunteered at The Gentle Barn educating guests and caring for the animals. She is a Celebrity Godparent with Keke Palmer's Saving Our Daughters and an enthusiastic supporter of a variety of Children's charities including St. Jude Hospital, No Kid Hungry, and North Valley Caring Services. Kensington's commitment to others has both lifted them up and given voice to their concerns.
