Held captive at the infamous prisoner camp at Temesvár during WW2. He
joined the lager's acting group and played alongside Rudolf Somogyvári and
Gábor Mádi Szabó.
Mostly known for playing countryman characters.
Retired in 1981, but kept acting for two more decades.
One of the co-founders of the Evangélium Theatre (1990).
In 2002, he was chosen as Honorary Citizen of Pesterzsébet (20th
district of Budapest).
