When it comes to reality television, Bravo certainly knows what they are doing. The network has created some of the most iconic shows in reality TV history! From Real Housewives, Below Deck, all the way to the success of Million Dollar Listing!

The franchise has a show set in both New York City and Los Angeles, with an array of hilarious, yet go-getting brokers who show the ins and outs of luxury real estate in two of the most well-known cities in the world.

While real estate meeting reality TV is a hot topic right now, especially with the emergence of Netflix's Selling Sunset, it appears as if Million Dollar Listing isn't worried about a thing, so much that they've accused their competition of being fake. The Hollywood Reporter today has announced the winners of the publication’s 2023 New York Power Broker Awards. Among the honorees are Douglas Elliman’s Patricia Vance, who sold a $74 million condo at the Aman New York last year, and Corcoran Group’s Deborah Grubman, whose star clients include Hugh Jackman and Rupert Murdoch.

The second annual awards honor some of the top sellers and savviest marketers in New York City, chosen from among the elite agents who make The Hollywood Reporter’s annual list of New York’s Top Real Estate Agents (which is based on an agent’s total sales volume as well as on their sales and listings for celebrity clients).

Two Bravo brokers are joining forces. Million Dollar Listing New York alum Tyler Whitman shared an Instagram video announcing that real estate firm Triplement—where he's led The Whitman Team for a number of years—would officially be joining luxury real estate brokerage The Agency on Sept. 6. As fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are surely aware, The Agency is headed by none other than Kyle Richards' husband, Mauricio Umansky. News of The Agency acquiring Triplemint was initially announced in May, but the deal was finalized this week. Million Dollar Listing: New York is not returning to Bravo anytime soon. The cable channel has "paused" the series, per Variety, so there will not be a 10th season, at least not in the immediate future. Bravo prefers not to refer to a series as cancelled since the channel could revive it at some point in the future.

Million Dollar Listing: New York is a spin-off of Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles. The New York series premiered in 2012, six years after the original series' debut. Million Dollar Listing: New York last aired on in May 2021 with the completion of a 16-episode ninth season.

Revolving around luxury real estate agents in New York, the ninth season of the reality series stars Fredrik Eklund, Ryan Serhant, Steve Gold, Tyler Whitman, and Kirsten Jordan.

“Million Dollar Listing New York” — a key installment in Bravo’s long-running real estate franchise — won’t be returning anytime soon, sources tell Variety. Bravo never uses the word “canceled,” instead considering series to be “paused,” since it sometimes brings shows back years later, as was the case with the revived “Real Housewives of Miami” on Peacock last year.

In the case of “Million Dollar Listing New York,” the network had no comment, but the current incarnation of the show is over.

The series is a spinoff of “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles,” which premiered on Bravo in 2006. The “New York” version made its debut in 2012 and ran for nine seasons. Its most recent season — and last for now — followed the show’s brokers, including original cast members Ryan Serhant and Fredrik Eklund, as they waded through the tribulations of pre-and-mid-pandemic real estate in New York City.
