At age sixteen, she was chosen to play the lead role of Christine as
understudy in the UK tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's and Cameron Mackintosh's "The Phantom of the
Opera".
A classically trained singer, she fulfilled her childhood ambition of
recording her first album, "Best Days", in 2005. In 2006, "Best days" was nominated for Album of the year at the Classical Brit Awards.
Nuttall was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the University of Bolton on July 14, 2011.
Gave birth to her 1st child at age 32, a daughter in April 2015. Child's father is her husband, Andrew Buchan.
Trained at both the Arts Educational School in Tring and with the
National Youth Music Theatre
A former pupil at Bury Grammar School.
Is working on her second album. (September 2006)
