M.P. Shankar was born on 20 August 1935 in Mysore, Kingdom of Mysore. He was an actor and writer, known for Gandhada Gudi (1973), Gandhada Gudi Part 2 (1994) and Naari Munidare Maari (1972). He died on 17 July 2008 in Mysore, Karnataka, India.
