Jen Martin is an Indian film music composer, independent artist, singer, and music producer who explores the sounds and cultures behind music. He predominantly works in the Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada film industries. Jen was born in Pondicherry, India, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Nanotechnology from SRM University. He learned Sound Engineering from Muzik Lounge School of Audio Technology under Stephen Devassy. In 2020, he was signed as a "Think Indie" artist in the Think Music record label. His independent music video "Pottum Pogattume", starring Arjun Das & Lavanya Tripati, was his first breakthrough as an artist.
Jen Martin has scored music for over 60 short films and 4 web series with Eruma Saani & Black Sheep as the overall streams for his work, crossing 100 million views on YouTube. Other than this, he has performed for Vijay Antony, Yuvan Shankar Raja, and Hip Hop Tamizha, and has worked with Madhan Karky and Vishal Chandrasekhar. He has also performed in various stage shows.
Jen Martin's debut movie as a music director, "Dada" (2023), starring Kavin & Aparna Das and directed by Ganesh K Babu, was a blockbuster hit, which paved the way for him in the Tamil film industry.
