Netflix on Friday released the official trailer for Fuller House‘s upcoming third season, whose premiere date (Friday, Sept. 22) just so happens to coincide with the 30th anniversary of its parent series. (Crazy, right?) In the newly released footage, Danny, Jesse and Joey arrive to celebrate the day that Jesse and Joey first moved in to help raise D.J., Stephanie and Michelle. Not only do they recreate their entrances from Full House‘s 1987 pilot,...

So, you might be familiar with Nxt, the development show for WWE that runs weekly television shows from FullSailUniversity in Florida. The talent down there is currently very good and features a wide array of styles and appearances from its roster. I write the weekly Nxt reviews, here on Nerdly, and with the year now in its final quarter I thought it might be a good time to review the development roster that appears on the Nxt show, and give grades and remarks regarding certain talents.
I will grade each of the following with anything from an A+ down to a F. I’ll explain what each grade means below.
A+ – Beyond ready for the main roster, should be on Raw or Smackdown, now!
A – Ready for the main roster, as soon as possible.
B – Could easily transfer to the main roster, but might need a little work.
C – Needs a little more development,...

With all the over-the-top McMahon craziness from Monday night, people may gloss over the Wednesday night offering of the Main Event and Nxt. But in reality it is still without a doubt the best one-two punch of WWE produced programming all week. Especially this week as we get a double dose of crazy, sexy and cool with Divas Champion Aj Lee. Plus, we see an awesome two out of three falls match with Antonio Césaro and Sami Zayn. Let us begin with this week’s Main Event.
The show begins with a solid six man tag with the Usos and Kofi Kingston versus The Shield. Everybody was on point as both trios gave it their all. At one point, the babyfaces did an amazing triple dive on the Hounds of Justice. The match had great back-and-forth between the two sides. Kofi Kingston definitely looks the best since his return to the WWE.

Since their debut in November 2012, The Shield has definitely changed the landscape of the WWE. Rollins, Reigns and Ambrose have brought justice to the developmental system by making first impressions all the more important. However, in recent weeks, it seemed the three have taken a backseat to other storylines and showed vulnerability piling up losses. This week justice looks to be a priority again on this week’s Main Event and Nxt.
Let’s start with the first of two appearances on this weeks edition of The Main Event. The show begins with a six man tag rematch from last week’s Monday Night Raw as the Usos and Mark Henry battle The Shield. Really solid opening contest with good back and forth between the two trios. The babyfaces start off really hot dominating until the first commercial break and then it switches as the Hounds of Justice take control.

Usually, the two pack of WWE Main Event and Nxt is the strongest wrestling television of the week from Vince and company. However, sometimes there are building weeks with a ton of shenanigans. And this week was apparently one of those times. Not to say there wasn’t great action, just not up to standards of the usual programming. Let’s begin by breaking down this week’s edition of the Main Event.
The Main Event comes to us from the not so distant past of last week. We are welcomed by the broadcast team of Jbl and Josh Matthews as R-Truth does his full rap as he is set to battle the Rebel Son himself Wade Barrett.
(Can you tell WWE is on an international tour this week and didn’t really care what they put out on television this week?)
The match itself felt very awkward. I just...

Comic-Con International has released the full schedule for Sunday July 24th for San Diego Comic-Con 2011. This is the final day of the convention. Sunday is known as Kids day and is usually the slowest of all the days, there are a few surprises though. In all my years of going to Comic-Con I've never been to a panel in Hal H. Usually nothing is happening in Hall H on Sunday, this year there are a few TV programs going on in Hall H such a as Glee, Supernatural, Doctor Who, The Cleveland Show, Sons of Anarchy, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and this year Buffy the Musical will be in the great Hall as well. I've never been to the Buffy Musical event, and I think I finally want to go this year. A couple of other things worth noting are a one on one panel with Nathan Fillion, and Max Brooks talks about zombies.

Tyler Perry has entertained audiences for years now with many film and television programs one of which is House of Payne and Volume Six of the popular show is now out on DVD. The series airs on the cable channel TBS and is sort of a cross between The Honeymooners and Family Matters. The show is the brainchild of Perry and has been on TV since 2007. It is currently in its seventh season.
House of Payne revolves around a middle-class African-American family that lives in a suburban part of Atlanta, Georgia. The family consists of many multi-generational members. They include patriarch Curtis Payne (Lavan Davis), a grumpy overweight fire chief who mirrors Ralph Kramden. The matriarch Ella (Cassi Davis) is more down to earth and caring and is the perfect yin to Curtis’ yang.
There’s C.J. (Allen Payne), Curtis and Ella’s nephew who also works in the firehouse.
