‘Big Brother’ Unveils Duty Of Care Protocols
Big Brother housemates will have to abide by the same social media blackout as Love Island contestants while those working on the show will be regularly reminded of Banijay’s Bullying and Harassment, Grievance and Whistleblowing Policies, as ITV shares its duty of care protocols for the reboot. Kicking off Sunday, Big Brother returns to British TV screens after five years off air and ITV and Banijay label Initial have been stringent in their approach to duty of care, given that conflict shows such as the Jeremy Kyle Show have been axed while Big Brother has been off air. ITV’s welfare package includes the social media blackout that means housemates’ family and friends will not be asked not to post content on individual social media accounts for the duration of their time in the house. Making a BBC documentary, Psychosis and Me, about his experience with his mental health struggles made him confront his lowest lows, actor and author David Harewood (Homeland, The Night Manager, Supergirl) told a TV industry gathering on Thursday. “It scared the shit out of me,” he told the Edinburgh TV Festival.
Asked about the overall experience of coming out about his mental health problems and sharing his experience in a doc, he said: “It was the toughest thing I have ever done.”
Recalling specifically going through documents featuring his comments from his time in a psychiatric hospital, Harewood said, “You are reading your disturbed self.”
After “a very difficult period,” he went through “a period of healing” and is now feeling comfortable discussing the topic, he shared.

Non-stop flatulence, a dead possum, and being too darn sexy. Are these the most ridiculous I'm a Celebrity fights in the history of the jungle?

From Brian Harvey's continual wind to Darren Day being too darn sexy - here are 10 absurd jungle rumbles:
1. Darren Day's too sexy for the jungle?
Sizzling sexual chemistry or far too much flatulence? It was almost impossible to keep up with Darren Day and Tara Palmer-Tomkinson's love/hate relationship in the 2002 series.
Palmer-Tomkinson shocked the entire nation as she revealed the root of their tension was all down to Day's unbridled sexiness, shouting: "I'll tell you why I am very uptight. It's because I think you are so f**king sexy."

Boxer Frank 'Wise Guy' Buglioni tallies the points and renders his verdict on the De Niro-Stallone comedy about two fighting rivals
Like most young boxers, I loved Rocky and Raging Bull. In fact, I've been a fan of Sylvester Stallone and Robert de Niro since I was a kid. So I enjoyed this film, in which they play two retired boxers who come back to fight each other one last time. It's nothing like Rocky and Raging Bull, though. It's a comedy, very tongue-in-cheek: as long as you don't go along expecting a serious film, it's actually pretty funny.
The concept of a "grudge match" between two former rivals is certainly feasible. Chris Eubank and Nigel Benn are a good example. Boxing does get personal, especially if there's a major title at stake. Two older fighters would still tend to be evenly matched, too: what you don't see is an...

As a nation of sports fans, Britain’s collective conscience is etched with memories from its greatest triumphs; the Wilkinson kick that won us the World Cup, Beckham’s last minute goal against Greece, the gut wrenching ebb and flow of Murray vs Djokovic at the Wimbledon final. As wonderful and galvanising as these images are for our nations people, equally etched on our memories are those moments of heartbreak and horror in the world of sport. Whenever a tragedy occurs involving human life, our intuition leads us to the obvious question ‘what could have been done to prevent it?’
We live in a learned world where much of the regulation and bureaucracy in sport derives from the inadequacies in procedure leading to the tragic loss of human life in the past. Take the Hillsborough disaster in 1989; a horrific crush in which 96 people were killed at a football ground in Sheffield.

Rebecca Adlington came over all teary following a confrontation with Matthew Wright over the cooking of a possum on I'm a Celebrity last night (November 25).
The Olympic swimmer had advised Wright to keep the the fire low to stop the food from burning at the suggestion of Kian Egan, before the broadcaster started frantically gesticulating, saying: "Stop telling me what to do. Speaking of spats in the jungle, we dig out 8 of I'm a Celeb's classic campfire fights - from Darren Day's fartgate to Janice Dickinson threatening to fry Lynne Franks' breasts - below:

Actor Gerard Butler jetted back to his native Scotland on Tuesday to play a charity soccer match to raise funds for victims of the East African drought.
The 300 hunk joined the Celtics team, which included legendary players Henrik Larsson, Neil Lennon and John Hartson, for the game against the retired Manchester United squad, whose all-star additions were comic Patrick Kielty and boxer Nigel Benn.
The two teams battled it out in front of 50,000 fans at Celtic Park in Glasgow - where Butler grew up - and the star helped his side win with a final score of 5-2.
The money raised from ticket sales will go to Oxfam's East Africa crisis appeal, benefiting the millions of people left without food after the continent was hit by one of the worst droughts in its history.
