With Pugak, the duo became a hit as a slapstick version of Pugo and Togo, and also came out in films. Both Kapampangans, the tandem was an on-and-off partnership that threatened to split up as early as 1953.
Pugak went solo as comedian and tickled the audience as the scrunched-up vinegary face model of Datu Puti Suka.
