During the last decade, much has been discussed about the stunt department and how the fearless, talented individuals who work in this area deserve more recognition in the film industry. From various movements to creating the respective category in awards ceremonies – unfortunately, the Oscars remain stubborn – to an unmistakable shift in the action genre – nowadays, it’s almost mandatory for an action flick to have an oner – stuntmen and stuntwomen have been increasingly valued with each passing year, so it would be expected that a movie paid them the proper tribute. With one of the most influential voices from the stunt world at the helm, David Leitch (Deadpool 2), The Fall Guy is a true love letter to a unit often overlooked by the general audience. In a mix of mystery, love, and action, Colt Seavers (Ryan Gosling), a stunt double, returns to work after an incident that almost ended his career.

Meryl Streep has been regarded as one of the most successful people of all time. Having broken records with how talented she is, normality has long escaped her life. However, many might not know that the actress faced one of the most human tragedies of them all; loss.
Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada
Before getting married to Don Gummer, Streep was famously involved with her Measure for Measure co-star, John Cazale, who was best known for his work on projects like The Deer Hunter and The Godfather. The two shared a very close and intimate connection that lasted until his passing from lung cancer. Many have found the actress to be very brave to have gone through such sorrow while simultaneously working.
However, it is when greatness is in the company of greatness that they are finally allowed to be people. Al Pacino is at the same level of fame as Streep.

Though Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare did a bit better than it was predicted during its first weekend in the cinemas, everything still seems bad for the director’s highly anticipated movie.
The spy action comedy starring Henry Cavill was made with a clear intention to kick it off with the most impressive results given promising scores of 73% from critics and 94% from the audience — but now the chances are that the film won’t be able to break even.
Henry Cavill’s position may be the most fortunate here as The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare did outperform the actor’s most recent flop Argylle, but it still doesn’t make things better for the brand new movie being shattered by a very unexpected competitor.

The 80s were a time when country music and a type of hero born of the good ol boy class that came into his own. This could be seen in shows like The Dukes Of Hazzard, Bj and The Bear, as well as movies like Any Which Way But Loose and Smokey and the Bandit. They were a time of what would be considered fun action films and TV. Again, this was personified in shows where usually no one got seriously hurt, like The A-Team. The bad guys went to the same shooting school as your friendly neighborhood Stormtroopers. But, one TV show that would personify this “nobody better get hurt” adventure series was The Fall Guy.

If I were to describe Emily Blunt’s red carpet style, I would say it’s sophisticated, polished, and feminine. She often leans toward the classics but does not hesitate to experiment with contemporary styles.
Such is the case of her recent red carpet appearance. On Friday, Blunt wore a bespoke deep royal blue Jenny Packham jumpsuit to the Berlin premiere of her latest film, The Fall Guy, at Uci Luxe Mercedes Platz.
Her co-star Ryan Gosling, director David Leitch, and producer Kelly McCormick joined her on the red carpet, but Blunt stood out in her blue and gold outfit.

A24’s dystopian thriller “Civil War” conquered the box office again, fending off three new releases to retain the top spot on North American charts.
Alex Garland’s film, starring Kirsten Dunst as a photojournalist who traverses a violently divided United States, added $11.12 million in its second weekend of release. It has generated $44.8 million so far and already stands as one of A24’s top five highest-grossing movies of all time. With a $50 million price tag, it’s also the indie distributor’s most expensive film to date.
Though it was a close race, “Civil War” charged ahead of a trio of newcomers — Universal’s vampire horror film “Abigail,” director Guy Ritchie’s “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” and Sony and Crunchyroll’s anime adventure “Spy x Family Code: White” — which all opened to mixed results.
Heading into the weekend, “Abigail” was predicted to top the box office with $12 million to $15 million in its debut.

Disney’s “Space Mountain” has been reignited.
Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec, whose credits including “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” and the two Michael Bay-produced live-action “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” films, have been hired to write a new screenplay based on the beloved Disney Parks attraction, TheWrap has learned.
Jonathan Eirich from Rideback is producing the feature, along with Joby Harold (who wrote an earlier iteration of the project) and Tory Tunnell of Safehouse. Ryan Halprin of Rideback is executive producing.
The original Space Mountain opened as the centerpiece of the Magic Kingdom’s version of Tomorrowland in 1975, part of the expansive Walt Disney World resort outside of Orlando, Fla. The ride is known for its strikingly graphic design — comprised of a cone and spires that jut heavenward (and can be seen as part of John Hench’s early concept art) — and its thrilling, coaster-in-the-dark aesthetic. In a promotional video shared Thursday, “Fall Guy” actor Hannah Waddingham presents the live-show idea as a pitch to Gosling, Blunt and David Leitch, the director of the movie and a former stuntman. Leitch says “I smell a live show!” after seeing the still of Blunt and Gosling riding a motorcycle next to a shark and a bus full of Universal Studio goers.

Eva Mendes praised Ryan Gosling’s Cuban accent in the “Can’t Tonight” Saturday Night Live sketch.
Gosling co-starred in the sketch with Marcello Hernández as two men trying to convince their friend, played by Kenan Thompson, to go out with them.
“Coño! My Cuban Papi made this Cuban Mami so happy with this!! Years of hanging out with my Dad paid off,” Mendes wrote on Instagram, sharing the sketch video.
Mendes, who is of Cuban descent and in a relationship with Gosling, acknowledged that Gosling picked up the accent by hanging out with her father.
Gosling and Hernández have heavy Cuban accents in the sketch, prompting the waitress (Sarah Sherman) to ask where the three guys were from.
Thompson’s character explains, “I’m Dominican, and he’s Cuban [Hernández], and he [Gosling] is from Tennessee, but ever since he married a Cuban woman, he is different.”

Eva Mendes offered her stamp of approval on Tuesday for husband Ryan Gosling’s Saturday Night Live performance, shouting out his particularly relevant sketch in which he spoke with a Cuban accent.
“My Cuban Papi made this Cuban Mami so happy with this,” Mendes, who is of Cuban descent and was born in Miami, wrote on Instagram. “Years of hanging out with my Dad paid off.”
The sketch involved Gosling playing a man who had developed a Cuban accent after marrying a Cuban woman. Marcello Hernandez and Kenan Thompson played two friends out to dinner with Gosling. At one point, Thompson says that Gosling’s character “is from Tennessee but ever since he married a Cuban woman, he different.”

Ryan Gosling‘s Saturday Night Live monologue went all too well… and got a ringing endorsement from a very important person. On Saturday night, Gosling took the stage at Studio 8H and, after revisiting the hilarious alien abduction sketch series alongside Kate McKinnon in the cold open, decided to use his opening monologue to say goodbye to his Barbie alter ego Ken. Gosling was joined by his The Fall Guy co-star Emily Blunt, who simultaneously bid adieu to her Oppenheimer character Kitty. To do so, the two parodied Taylor Swift‘s Red song “All Too Well.” On Instagram, the pop superstar herself responded to the number, writing, “All Too Well (Ryan and Emily’s Version) !!! Watch me accidentally catch myself singing this version on tour. This monologue is everything.” In the song, Gosling, who wore the character’s sunglasses and fur coat one last time, said goodbye to Ken by singing,...

About halfway through, Blunt showed up to scold Gosling for living in the past and not doing enough to promote their upcoming movie together, The Fall Guy. Oppenheimer, Sky Cinema now, and Insomnia, Itvx, streaming now
We don't frequently include two films from the same director in the Stay-at-Home but, then again, we don't subscribe to arbitrary rules either and the opportunity to catch something old and something new (not to mention something borrowed) from Christopher Nolan's back catalogue seems too good to miss. First up you can now stream the Oscar-winning latest from the British director, which details the development of the atomic bomb via the life of Robert Oppenheimer. Whether the film needs to be quite as structurally convoluted is definitely debatable but Nolan does like that sort of thing and you can't argue with the beautifully recreated period detail and the magnetic performances from Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr and Emily Blunt, among others. From the opposite - and more formulaic - end of Nolan's career,...

It seems Taylor Swift also can’t get enough of Ryan Gosling as Ken.
On Saturday’s episode of Saturday Night Live, host Ryan Gosling was joined by his The Fall Guy co-star Emily Blunt to sing a rendition of Taylor Swift’s hit song “All Too Well” during the monologue.
The setup was that Gosling said he initially said he wasn’t going to talk about his Barbie character on the show, but he changed his mind and decided to sing about his feelings.
“You know, when you play a character that hard, that long, just letting go feels like a breakup and for processing a breakup, there’s really only one thing that can help: the music of the great Taylor Swift,” Gosling said, sitting down at a piano and donning sunglasses and a white fur coat à la his character’s in the movie.

Even though Ryan Gosling popped up during Kristin Wiig's induction into the Five Timers Club in last weekend's episode of "Saturday Night Live," the "Barbie" star had actually only hosted the late night sketch comedy show a couple times. Despite having just that pair of hosting stints under his belt, Gosling had already proven he was a reliable and hilarious host. But even with expectations high, Gosling made this third round hosting "Saturday Night Live" an absolute banger, delivering one of the best episodes that I've ever seen. And it wasn't just because of guest appearances by former "SNL" cast member (and recent host) Kate McKinnon or a cameo by Gosling's "The Fall Guy" co-star Emily Blunt. Even without those bonuses, this episode of "SNL" was simply phenomenal.
So let's not waste anymore time. Come with us as we dig into the highs and non-existent lows of Ryan Gosling's latest "Saturday Night Live.

It's been nine months since both "Barbie" and "Oppenheimer" released in theaters, but poor Ryan Gosling still struggles to let the event go. So he decided to bring out the ol' piano for his "Saturday Night Live" monologue and sing an ode to Ken, paying tribute to that neon rollerblading outfit and ridiculous fur coat. The song was sung to the tune of Taylor Swift's "All Too Well," which Swift famously sung in its 10-minute entirety on "SNL" back in 2021. The relevance of "All Too Well" to the bit doesn't stop there: it's also the song Gosling's character cries to in the trailer for his new movie, "The Fall Guy," a movie that's basically Gosling's entire reason for hosting this time around.
Showing up mid-musical number was "The Fall Guy" co-star Emily Blunt, urging Gosling to let "Barbie" go and focus on their new project together. But much like Gosling can't let Ken go,...

We may not know if there will be a Barbie 2, but Ryan Gosling is all in for a sequel to “Papyrus.” What’s “Papyrus” you ask? Only one of the greatest runaway skits on Saturday Night Live of the past decade. For those unfamiliar, the instant fan favorite saw an increasingly obsessed Gosling going absolutely insane over Avatar using the Papyrus font for its title card. And now, in his third SNL hosting gig, Gosling has revisited it, bringing us the gift of “Papyrus 2”…and now we totally need a feature length adaptation.
“Papyrus 2” catches up with Gosling’s character, Steve, years after the events of the first one as he still tries to cope with the fact that Avatar used such a by-the-books font, only to be consumed yet again by it. But when he sees that The Way of Water has updated the font, he sees hope in...

Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling currently have the whole world by storm with their next project that will also mark their first collaboration, The Fall Guy. Saturday Night Live wasted no time getting to the good stuff this week: another alien abduction sketch, with host Ryan Gosling joined by (and trying hard not to laugh at) former cast member Kate McKinnon.
In the cold open, Gosling returned as alien abductee Todd, with McKinnon reprising her role as the chain-smoking Miss Rafferty, who always has a much less pleasant encounter with the extraterrestrials. (The sketch debuted in 2015 with Gosling as host and returned for his 2017 stint as well.) This time, Todd and Miss Rafferty were joined by Sarah Sherman’s other abductee… and Todd wants to clarify...

Ryan Gosling just couldn’t let go of his character Ken from Barbie during his Saturday Night Live monologue.
Though he initially said he wasn’t going to talk about Ken because he “broke up” with the character after going “too deep,” he ultimately decided to sing about his feelings with a rendition of Taylor Swift’s hit song “All Too Well.”
“You know, when you play a character that hard, that long, just letting go feels like a breakup and for processing a breakup, there’s really only one thing that can help: The music of the great Taylor Swift,” the La La Land actor said.
Gosling then proceeded to sing, “I shredded Venice Beach is true / My clothes were tight / But something about that spandex felt so right / I left my rollerblades in that big pink house / But I still got that fur coat and I’ll wear...

Ryan Gosling kicked off the April 13 episode of Saturday Night Live with two huge moments!
The 43-year-old The Fall Guy actor is hosting with Chris Stapleton as his musical guest.
During the cold open, he reunited with his Barbie costar Kate McKinnon to revisit their iconic alien abduction skit to the delight of the audience.
If you forgot, back in 2017, the pair starred in a sketch where they were being debriefed after being abducted by aliens. They had dramatically different experiences with their abductors, and Ryan went viral for breaking character as Kate detailed her wild journey.
It turns out that they managed to get abducted again before tonight’s episode!
This time around, Ryan broke out in laughter while recalling how they aliens were inspecting his “troll nose” (aka his member).
That was just a warmup for his opening monologue where he was joined by Emily Blunt for one...
