Hulk Hogan credits her with saving his life. In 2007 when he was going through his divorce from Linda and dealing with the aftermath of his son's near fatal car accident, Hogan was alone, depressed and contemplating suicide. She called him out of concern and her voice helped to snap him out of his depression.

(December 4, 2018) Was involved in a serious accident in Calabasas that left a pedestrian seriously injured. Ali accidentally hit an elderly man while driving through the parking lot of a shopping center. Medics treated the victim on the scene, but he was eventually taken by ambulance to a hospital and is in stable condition. She was not arrested and the Sheriff's Department is investigating this as an accident.
