Jonaye Kelsey is a talented multi-hyphenate artist based in Los Angeles. As an Actress, Producer and Writer, Jonaye Kelsey is using herself as a vessel to help navigate personal feelings and give a voice back to the voiceless through her stories. She has made her acting debut as seen on AllBlk's "Send Help Series" and other projects including To All the Mom's I've Loved Before, Tom Doesn't Care, Scissor Sleepover and The Finish Line.
Jonaye has also been dedicated behind the scenes as a member of the production staff leading to producing numerous projects; scripted and non-scripted film and television series, live entertainment shows, digital and media content and docuseries on various networks such as NAACP Image Award winning HBO film Black Boy Joy, Hillman Grad Productions film "Malleable" which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, Hulu's campaign for Black History Month: Black Stories Always "Giving Flowers" starring black pioneers, Kerry Washington, Yvette Lee Browser and many more, followed by the Hollywood Black's docuseries executive produced by Forest Whitaker and Justin Simien. Other production credits include the Warner Media pilot "Remember", FOX's Gordon Ramsay's Food Stars, CNN's Juneteenth Global Celebration live event, Netflix's Incoming feature film, Pressure Cooker and Is it Cake S1 and S2.
Jonaye Kelsey also has an extensive background with Digital networks such as Complex Media and BET Networks working on many projects including Hiking with Rappers, First We Feast, NAACP Image Awards and BET Awards. Jonaye Kelsey is diligently working on highlighting who she is as an artist by developing the upcoming projects, Still Hope, Not Lost, Black Like Me and The Finish Line.
