There's nothing we like more than a British success story - and so huge congrats to the team behind the UK comedy short Tooty's Wedding, whose film is heading to the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.
The 19-minute film - about a married man who decides he's meant to be with another woman the night before her wedding - made the shortlist of 27 being shown in Sundance's International Shorts section next. A pretty amazing achievement, considering there were 3,592 entries from 16 countries.
But then, its credentials are pretty great. Tooty's Wedding is made by Hoot Comedy (the independent production company who brought you the recent web series The Real George Osborne), directed by Frederic Casella - and stars comedy actors Laura Solon, Ben Willbond and Daisy Haggard (last seen being the funniest person in Episodes).
Good luck at the festival, guys. And in the meantime, enjoy an exclusive snippet from the film below:...
