Jeremy Beiler
Jeremy Beiler was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. His roots in performing and writing come from FreeLoveForum, a sketch comedy show on a low-budget cable access station which he and his friends made on weekends during high school. After college he became a video journalist for the New York Times while appearing in small television, movie and theatre roles, eventually landing a job at Saturday Night Live. He received two Peabody Awards for writing on Inside Amy Schumer and SNL, where he worked closely with writer Julio Torres and cast member Vanessa Bayer. For Inside Amy Schumer he is known for writing the Aaron Sorkin parody "The Foodroom" and at SNL he is known for the digital shorts "Santa Baby" and "Wells For Boys" as well as for creating Bayer's weekend update character Meteorologist Dawn Lazarus, prior to his departure in Season 43.
