Rick spent a year at theatre school in Montreal before attending film
school in Toronto at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute. Rick went through
the Second City Training Centre in Toronto and moved to Cleveland in
1996. He joined Cabaret Dada Improvisational Theatre in 1999 and
performed with them for almost 4 years. He is also a graduate of The
Second City Conservatory program. As well as directing and editing
several short films for Last Call Cleveland, Rick has directed and
produced several stage productions with his sketch comedy troupe
Habitat For Insanity. He moved to Los Angeles in 2004 and works as a
writer/producer and editor for various productions companies in the LA
area. While in California Rick has continued to produce and direct
short films that can be found on YouTube.com and other websites. He is
also an alumni of Improv Olympic West where he recently produced and
directed another live sketch comedy show called KABAM. He is currently
directing and producing a short film called "Open Mic Night" written by
Last Call Cleveland member Mike Polk.
