Giovanni Gopradi is a public speech fearing law student turned commited actor. In just two years he acted in 30 different films which required over a hundred casting calls. He's already built up an impressively diverse body of work, from playing in shorts and personal films to taking on Hollywood slapstick like Paul Blart Mall Cop 2. I got the chance to discuss his approach to acting, and his rapidly growing, diverse resume. Check it out!
Q. You seem to transition a lot from light hearted comedies/dramas to very serious roles. Can that be a jarring transition? Or do you take it quite naturally?
I correlate it to like, a normal event that happens in everyones life. When you goto a party the mindset is that you’re joking around and having a good time, and when there’s a death in the family that mindset changes. And it really depends...

When it comes to favorites around the Dread Central offices, few actors hold a spot higher than the always excellent Dee Wallace (The Howling, Rob Zombie's Halloween, Cujo, Critters, E.T.). This lady has done it all, and now she's about to tango with big red himself.
Bloody Disgusting got word that Wallace will be starring in the new film from Gregori J. Martin (The Intruders, Raven) Unhallowed, which shoots February in Los Angeles and New York.
Along with Wallace, Kristos Andrews, Gabrielle Stone, and Miriam Colon (who is still in talks) star. Martin's latest is in the vein of Rosemary's Baby and The Exorcist. It follows a family who loses their son and seeks guidance from a spiritual healer whom many believe to be the reincarnation of Luke (from the Bible). Cue supernatural happenings, vigorous readings from the Bible, and the usual Satanic hijinx.

Letter From The Creator Of The Bay The Series In Support Of All My Children
To Whom It May Concern:
Twenty seven years ago was the very first time I ever set eyes on a Daytime Soap, and that Daytime Soap was ABC's All My Children. I was five years old and my mother would occasionally keep me home from school to watch the town-diva/socialite (and now household name) Erica Kane, the hopeless romances between Jenny and Greg..., Angie and Jesse, Hillary and Tad the Cad -- all doomed from day one, the classic Shakespearian-like story telling and family dynamics of the Cortland's, helmed by the evil-patriarch, Palmer, the polar opposites -- rich and powerful Adam Chandler and his mentally damaged but warm-hearted identical twin Stuart, racy story-lines involving alcoholism, H.I.V. and AIDS, racism and rape! Sex, lies, scandal all taking place in the small fictional suburban town of Pine Valley,...

In Parts One, Two and Three of our interview with Real Andrews, this multi-talented and passionate actor from The Bay revealed the personal demons that sabotaged his early career, how religion helped him to overcome adversity, and how he is personally taking responsibility to help combat obesity in the U.S. Plus, he made a special offer to We Love Soaps TV readers to get free assistance from him personally in order to get in shape. In this final part, we recount his roles on General Hospital, As The World Turns, and how industry racism contributed to his limited screen time.

The Bay's producer/creator Gregori J. Martin announced today that Ignacio Serrichio is joining the cast of the hit Indie Soap. According to Martin:
Ignacio Serricchio first appears on The Bay as Manny Ramos, the newest addition to the Ramos clan at the end of the third Chapter. Manny is Janice (Lilly Melgar) and Frankie's (Diego Serrano) kid brother, and Lianna's (Jade Harlow) uncle.
Fans of General Hospital will recall Serricchio's appearance as Diego Alcazar (2004-06; 2008) aka, "The Text Message Killer" who murdered Georgie Jones, Emily Quartermaine, Coop Barrett, and (gasp) even Michael Corinthos's beloved nanny Leticia! Let's hope Sara Garrett (Mary Beth Evans) isn't checking her text messages too soon!
