Bryan Borders Jr. is a writer & producer from Charlotte, North Carolina. After graduating college with a B.A. in audio engineering, he moved to Los Angeles and spent several years pursuing a career in sound--culminating in a nomination at the 72nd MPSE Golden Reel Awards for his work on Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth.
2024 saw a gradual pivot away from audio as he began to work various crew roles on numerous graduate thesis films at American Film Institute, learning the ropes of filmmaking from acclaimed producing, directing, and cinematography fellows at the prestigious film school. During this time he discovered a passion for visual storytelling, and was inspired to take a more active role in developing stories for the screen.
Today he continues to write and develop original work, as well as collaborate with filmmakers from AFI and elsewhere to bring unique, entertaining, emotionally resonant stories to life.
