Onetime Disney Channel starlet Bella Thorne says that she was nearly made to bow out of Shake It Up!, due to a choice in beachwear.

As a recent guest on the High Low With EmRata podcast, Thorne recounted instances of being sexualized as a preteen and teen, including an instance where, at age 10, she said a casting agent reported back to her mom, “she’s not moving forward because the director felt like she was flirting with him, and it made him really uncomfortable.”

The HiFi Holiday Festival, hosted by Filipinos Advancing Creative Education (F.A.C.E) in collaboration with other HiFi organizations, took over L.A.’s Historic Filipinotown on Saturday for the second consecutive year.

Exclusive: Peacock will launch a spinoff of DreamWorks Animation’s series Dragons Rescue Riders.

The streamer will premiere Dragons Rescue Riders: Heroes of the Sky, an offshoot of the kids series that has run for two seasons on Netflix.

There are two kinds of people still watching The Walking Dead: those who love the gore quotient and believe zombies are the true enemy of the people and those who understand that the undead are merely a catalyst to expose the evil that has always lived within. I’m of the latter group because the drama is always more real when it builds between two very different people trying to survive via diametrically opposed ways than when it’s just the living bashing the skulls of unfeeling hollow shells. So it intrigued me when hearing zombie film What Still Remains called an apocalyptic thriller. The two descriptions are hardly mutually exclusive, but they do both sell vastly different content. Kicking off another day on the job, Bella Thorne showed up to film scenes for “Mostly Ghostly 2” in Los Angeles on Tuesday (March 25).

Joined by co-star Ryan Ochoa, the darling Disney dame kept warm in a camouflage Snuggie while perched on a bench in between takes.

On Monday (March 24), Bella worked alongside Madison Pettis, Ochoa and Roshon Fegan, looking lovely in a pink top with yoga pants.

And in career news, Ms. Thorne just signed on to star in the forthcoming installment of the “Amityville Horror” franchise with Jennifer Jason Leigh.

Disney Channel has announced that the last episode of A.N.T. Farm will air at 8pm on Friday, March 21st. Star China Anne McClain tweeted that the series was ending back in late December. Disney hadn't confirmed the news until today.

Titled "the new york experiANTs," the house of mouse describes the 65th and final episode this way: "Everyone accompanies Zoltan to the opening of the new flagship Z-Store in NYC. Chyna connects with a street performer named Hudson, who puts on a tough guy persona to impress her. Meanwhile, Fletcher gets the opportunity to move to NY as an artist in residence at a museum." Roshon Fegan will guest as Hudson.

Richard Bull, who famously played the part of Nels Oleson, the shopkeeper, on Little House of the Prairie (1974-1983) died Monday, Feb. 3, at the age of 89.

Bull, a character actor who was last seen in an 2011 episode of Boss, played Nels for almost a decade and was a prolific TV actor, reportedly appearing in over 100 different shows, including Hawaii Five-o and Bewitched.

Bull died of complications due to a pneumonia in Calabasas and he is survived by his wife Barbara Collentine.

Last night was a really good night! I was an invited guest to go to premiere of the the Justin Bieber Believe movie. My friend Bella and I got there early so we waited in the theater for a while. But while we there, we saw Jaden Smith, Moises Arias, Kylie Jenner, Pia Mia, Roshon Fegan, Kiernan Shipka (who is really pretty in real life!), Jessica Jarrell and Brad Garrett and his daughter. I saw Kat McNamara instagram that she was there but I didn't run into her. Also, even though I never saw her, Madison Beer was at the movie, too, because I talked with her mom Tracie and brother Ryder for a while (they also couldn't find Madison!). Best of all,  China Anne McClain remembered me from our Grown Ups 2 interview and she came over and gave me two really big hugs.

Was the ‘Shake It Up’ finale everything you hoped it would be? Read our review, then give us yours!

CeCe (Bella Thorne) and the rest of the crew danced off into the sunset on the Nov. 10 series finale of Disney Channel’s Shake It Up, and for an impromptu last episode — Zendaya recently told HollywoodLife.com she thought it “fits the finale mold” – it was a pretty satisfying send-off.

Here’s what went down: After CeCe took a tumble during a charity fashion show — oh, that girl, clumsy ’til the end! — she was stricken with amnesia, leaving her friends and family to jog her memory. There were a few bumps in the process, like when CeCe mistook Tinka (Caroline Sunshine) for her best friend, but everything turned out right in the end.

So, it was basically like the final episode of Full House, only CeCe didn’t need a translucent...

When I first read about ‘Shake It Up’ being canceled on HollywoodLife.com’s sister site Deadline, I was crushed. Disney sure is shaking things up and I don’t like it one bit!

It’s true: Shake It Up has been canceled after three seasons. As a faithful viewer since day one, it’s sad to know I won’t see Bella Thorne and Zendaya dancing on my TV screen once this fall’s final crop of episodes have aired. I adored my weekly Disney dance party!

Disney Channel has canceled "Shake It Up," the hit series starring Bella Thorne and Zendaya as professional teen dancers on a local TV show.

Deadline was first to report the news that the original series will end after its current third season, with the final round of "Shake It Up" episodes set to air this summer and fall. A rep for Disney Channel confirmed the news to The Huffington Post.

"Shake It Up," which debuted in 2010 to an impressive average of 6.2 million viewers, revolves around unlikely best friends -- the ditzy CeCe Jones (Thorne) and the overachieving Rocky Blue (Zendaya) -- who star on their local TV dance program "Shake It Up, Chicago!" A new installment of the Disney Channel's "Stars on the Set" giving us a behind-the-scenes look at "Iron Man 3" has popped up online and in addition to a few new shots from the film and a healthy dose of on-set footage, the clip provides us with a character we have yet to see in any trailer. His name is Harley, he's a kid, and he's there to help Iron Man out.

"When Iron Man crash lands in the small town of Rose Hill," says host Roshon Fegan, "he finds an unlikely ally in a kid named Harley who helps him get back on his feet." Check out the whole clip below before it disappears.

Now, it's entirely possible that Harley's role is being hyped up here because this is for the Disney Channel and, well, kids would obviously get excited about seeing a kid hanging out with Iron Man.

Zendaya continues to wow the judges and audience on "Dancing With the Stars," but she took some time out to talk about the experience on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." The 16-year-old Disney Channel star has been at the top of the leaderboard for the first two weeks of the competition. But how does she handle the pressure?

She seeks advice from friends, like former competitor Roshon Fegan, who co-stars in "Shake It Up" with her. His advice, though, was a little weird.

"He told me that the best piece of advice was to blow my nose before I go out on stage and I was like, Ok, like, what does that have to do with anything?" Zendaya said. "He said, it’s live. There are HD cameras. Snot will fly."

Organizers planned to hold talks at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center on crime, education and other issues affecting today's youth as a prelude to teen musical acts scheduled to hit the Superdome stage later in the evening.

Essence is one of the premiere music festivals celebrating black culture and music. It's been held every Independence Day weekend since its inception in 1995, when it marked the 25th anniversary of Essence magazine.

At just 20 years old, Disney star Roshon Fegan wasn't sure he'd be able to hold his own as a contestant against more seasoned celebrities on "Dancing with the Stars."

However, the actor and freestyle dancer, who was given the boot (along with Melissa Gilbert) on Tuesday's double elimination, earned a sense of pride in his accomplishments during his eight-week stint on the ABC hit - a lesson he'll carry with him in the future.

The competition is building on ABC's Dancing With The Stars (TV). The 8th week results show contained a unique twist when the judges choice involved Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd doing their Jive routine accompanied by Karina. It was the first time a trio was asked to perform the encore performance, and earned a standing ovation by the audience. The "Dancing With the Stars" contestants were warned on Monday night that two couples would be sent packing on Tuesday, but that didn't make the sting any less bitter.

Chris Brown was the night's performer, and after he ran through a new song from his forthcoming album Fortune, the remaining celebrities got the bad news.

In the end, the first couple to get the boot was Disney star Roshon Fegan and his partner Chelsie Hightower. Fegan smiled through the announcement and said, "I am happy to add ballroom dancing to my super-duper dance moves."

Fegan actually scored pretty well on Monday night, earning 29 out of 30 for his individual performance. The judges told him that watching him perform was like watching a young Mickey Rooney.

Melissa Gilbert was given a birthday to remember for all the wrong reasons on Tuesday - she was booted off U.S. show Dancing With The Stars.

The Little House on the Prairie star and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy were ranked bottom of the leader board following their performance on Monday evening, with just 51 points out of 60.

And American viewers agreed with the judges' scoring and voted for Gilbert, who turned 48 on Tuesday, to leave the show.

After the news was announced, she said, "I can't even describe what a learning and growing experience it's been. It's been a real blessing and a joy. I'm amazed that I even made it this far, and the things that I was able to do and the things that (I was) able to overcome to have been here on this day, does make it a really incredible birthday."

Actor Roshon Fegan was also voted off as part of a double elimination, leaving Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins, American football player Donald Driver, model William Levy and TV presenter Maria Menounos still in the contest.
