The assistant was behind them. And I said "Hi," and they didn't turn around. They said, "Yeah, go ahead." And then I read with the assistant, and the casting director didn't even turn once! - I used to smoke a lot. And I had this ritual, where I'd show up for the audition, have a cigarette, and keep the stub until I heard whether or not I got the job. - This is, to me, part of the story of The Apprentice. When is it enough, and what does it do to a person? So I think my journey through Vienna and coming here trying to understand what it means to be an American, growing up in America, 100% influenced me with that part, and it probably drove me to do it.
- [2025] Costumes and a character's wardrobe, or how they dress, really tells a story, and it tells a lot about that particular character, about the person. So I take the wardrobe very seriously.
