New and Upcoming Sci-Fi and Fantasy

Branden Cook most recently held a scholarship from Lesly Kahn & Company. He also recently attended another scholarship to Bernard Hiller's masterclass. Due to Patrick Dempsey's recommendation, Branden completed a two year program at Baron/Brown Studios under Tom Patton and has studied his craft with countless other schools, studios, and workshops. He is a loving father and a devoted husband. Branden was born in Los Feliz, California. His mother was a psychologist and his father an actor. With one portraying characters, and the other trying to help people find themselves, Branden intuitively started analyzing human behavior. One of his first memories was seeing his father in a play called "See How They Run" by Philip King. With one turn of his father's head he made the audience laugh so hard they sobbed tears of hysterical joy. "When I heard everyone roar with laughter it was frightening, being so young. But as soon as I realized that they were all overcome with laughter and well... happy, I knew that's what I wanted to do. I was hooked." Over the past ten years he has been developing a pilot called HEAL and is beginning to study the art of being behind the camera.

His father founded the LA Academy of Dramatic Art. His
mother swam in the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo.

Branden produced the workshop that discovered Giancarlo Esposito as Gustavo Fring for Breaking Bad at AIA Studios.
