Simon Brandon
I developed the idea for this film from a multi-media workshop at Laban Dance Center in London. A Poem and choreographed movement followed the explorations and discoveries made and this became the starting point for this short film. This is a ten minute film about an unchanging ideal visualised in the mind, and the essence of that. The figure in white represents the thought, and the figure in black represents the thinker. Though the thought is represented by a person it could equally be represented by a place, a time, a feeling or something else. It was premiered at Saatchi and Saatchi Gum Factory.
