Sam Register was named President, Warner Bros. Animation and Blue Ribbon Content, in April 2014. He reports to Warner Bros. Television Group Chairman Peter Roth.

In this capacity, Register supervises the Studio's television animation unit and oversees creative efforts related to the development and creation of new programming, including traditional animated series, original shorts and original movies. He also runs the Television Group's digital studio, Blue Ribbon Content, which was formed in 2014 and produces original series and content for digital platforms.

As of March 2020, current series produced by WBA under Register's leadership include "Animaniacs" for Hulu; "Aquaman: King of Atlantis," "Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai," "Jellystone," "Little Ellen" and "Looney Tunes Cartoons" for HBO Max; "Green Eggs and Ham" for Netflix; "Harley Quinn" and "Young Justice" for DC Universe; "DC Super Hero Girls," "Teen Titans Go!," "ThunderCats Roar" and "Unikitty!" for Cartoon Network; "Mike Tyson Mysteries" for Adult Swim; and "Bunnicula," "Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz," "New Looney Tunes," "Scooby-Doo! and Guess Who," "The Tom and Jerry Show," "Wacky Races" and "Yabba-Dabba Dinosaurs!" for Boomerang.

Blue Ribbon Content's live-action productions include series such as the horror/thriller "Critters: A New Binge" for Shudder and the horror/comedy "The Pledge" for CW Seed, as well as the following original movies: "The Banana Splits Movie" and "Critters Attack!" for Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and SYFY, plus "Good Girls Get High" for DirecTV Cinema. BRC is also producing the mixed-media series "BizarroTV" for DC Universe, as well as the animated series "Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons" for CW Seed. Prior BRC projects include live-action comedies "Beerfest: Thirst for Victory" and "Jojo Head" for CW Seed; the UNINTERRUPTED comedy "Now We're Talking"; SpringHill Entertainment's basketball documentary series "Best Shot" for YouTube Red; animated series "Constantine: City of Demons," "Freedom Fighters: The Ray" and "Vixen" for CW Seed; "Ellen's Pet Dish" for ellentube; "Ginger Snaps" for ABC Digital; and "Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles" for Machinima, plus game show "Play with Caution" for Disney XD's DXP and the "Batman: The Animated Series VR Experience" with OTOY for the Mattel View-Master.

Register also executive produced "Teen Titans GO! to the Movies," the first-ever feature film adaptation of WBA's highly successful "Teen Titans Go!" television series.
