What If...? Season 3 has been a mixed bag so far. While the episode starring Bucky Barnes and The Red Guardian was a very fun time, others have shined the spotlight on pretty strange premises.
However, things might have taken a turn for the better, and that's all thanks to episode five. Its story begins with an event audiences had already witnessed before in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it truly ponders the question: What would've happened if the heroes we all know and love failed to save Earth against cosmic threats?
The Emergence was never stopped
This tale begins when the Eternals failed to join together in time to stop the Emergence — an apocalyptic event that sees the birth of a Celestial inside the Earth's core at the expense of all human beings. Our planet was destroyed and shattered into countless different fragments floating in space in the process. A...

What If...? season 3's fifth episode opens on a world with an army of drones called the Iron Federation marching through the streets. We find Riri Williams, a.k.a. Ironheart, heading to a motel as The Watcher explains that she fails her mission in every version of this reality.
Meeting with Sharon Carter, Riri acquires an analogue part from an Easy Bake oven that's an essential part of whatever she's building. The Power Broker betrays her, though, and the Iron Federation closes in - many of them are revealed to be holograms - as Ironheart makes her escape in a makeshift suit.
However, it's then that White Vision attacks and, just as things look bleak for the hero, she's rescued by Wong, Okoye, Valkyrie, and Ying Nan. This is no normal Earth; it's the remnants of our planet in a reality where the Emergence happened years before the Eternals stopped it.

One of the most polarizing moments of the MCU remains the Emergence — the moment when a Celestial emerged from the Earth’s core in Eternals. With characters seemingly unwilling to acknowledge the event, it’s mostly disappeared from the popular consciousness. However, What If…? focuses on the impacts of the event in “What If… The Emergence Destroyed the Earth?” Focusing on this maligned moment, along with the choice to center Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne), makes this one of the more intriguing episodes of the season. However, the conclusion of “The Emergence Destroyed the Earth” really raises the importance of the latest What If…? episode.

The second film in the “28 Years Later” trilogy, “The Bone Temple,” has landed a Jan. 16, 2026 domestic release date from Columbia Pictures.
The project’s MLK weekend release comes just six months after the first trilogy entry “28 Years Later,” which is slated for June 20. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Comer and Ralph Fiennes star in that film, which shot back-to-back with “The Bone Temple.”
“It’s been almost three decades since the rage virus escaped a biological weapons laboratory, and now, still in a ruthlessly enforced quarantine, some have found ways to exist amidst the infected,” the “28 Years Later” official synopsis reads. “One such group of survivors lives on a small island connected to the mainland by a single, heavily-defended causeway. What If...? returns with its third and final season this weekend and Marvel Animation has today shared the episode descriptions and credits for every episode.
There are some significant reveals here, though the biggest is Mysterio's role in "What If...The Emergence destroyed the Earth?" With the planet no more, it appears Quentin Beck finds a way to take charge of what's left; could a Spider-Man: Far From Home retcon be in the works establishing him as a Multiversal threat?
We wouldn't bank on it but in this reality, he must have survived the events of that movie and become more than just a con man out to steal Tony Stark's technology.
Beyond that, most of these episodes sound like fun, throwaway adventures and a couple really stretch the "What If...?" premise. However, the final two episodes sound pretty monumental and could have a major impact on the...

In the world of ‘The Beauty,’ physical perfection is attainable. The vast majority of the population has taken advantage of it, but Detectives Foster and Vaughn will soon discover it comes at a terrible price.”

Exclusive: Rashida Jones, Will McCormack and Michael Govier have been set to write Tom and Jerry, a feature that will be made under Bill Damaschke’s Warner Bros Pictures Animation.
They will be starting fresh on the new iteration of the misadventures of the cat Tom and mouse Jerry, hatched in 1940 by William Hanna & Joseph Barbera at MGM. Until MGM shuttered its animation division, they made 114 shorts that won 7 Oscars. Later versions came from Gene Deitch and Chuck Jones, and then others. The characters most recently toplined the 2021 hybrid film Tom & Jerry. While through the years it has been criticized for the sometimes violent ways the cat tries to trap the mouse and pays dearly for it, the venerable franchise has been an influence on many cartoon series including The Simpsons.

Marvel Studios' Thor: The Dark World is generally regarded as one of the low (lowest?) points of the MCU, but a lot of fans were still concerned that Taika Waititi would "ruin" the character when he was enlisted to helm Thor: Ragnarök.
Ironically, the threequel is now widely viewed as the best Thor movie, but Waititi remembers the online backlash when he was announced as the movie's director.
"That really propelled me into the nerdosphere, if you will," the filmmaker recalled during a new video interview with Entertainment Weekly. "I was living a really lovely, peaceful life, and as soon as I did this, well boy, did the nerds come for me. They said, 'This guy's gonna ruin this. He's gonna ruin Thor!'"
"It's like, 'What, you mean again?'" he added. "And they were like, 'He's gonna ruin this for everyone, Thor's so cool!' And I said...

Creed Creed, 10pm, ITV, Monday November 25
Forget Rocky, it's Sly Stallone who proved he was one of the ultimate comeback kids with his Golden Globe-winning supporting turn in Ryan Coogler's Rocky sequel. The story might be a new one - Apollo Creed's illegitimate son wants his dad's old rival to train him up - but it draws on elements of the original, including the inevitable climactic fight, without being slavish to them. Michael B Jordan is no lightweight in the acting department either and brings plenty of nuance to his character as he trains himself up at the same time as he strikes up a romance with his neighbour Bianca (Tessa Thompson), who is facing challenges of her own. Coogler takes this seriously - and so will you.
Knives Out, 4Seven, 9pm, Wednesday, November 27
Rian Johnson's whodunnit murder mystery is very much in the Agatha Christie vein - complete.

Marvel Studios has shared a cast list for the upcoming third and final season of What If...?, and Jeffrey Wright's Watcher looks set to be joined by another A-List lineup of Marvel Cinematic Universe talent.
We heard some time ago that season 3 would add some key Phase 4 characters to the mix, and that's evident from the presence of Kingo, Shang-Chi, Kate Bishop, and Moon Knight.
There aren't many surprises beyond that, though we are intrigued to see what the likes of Sonny Burch and Arishem the Judge bring to the table.

Cate Blanchett became a great addition to the MCU despite starring in only one film. Playing Hela, the Goddess of Death, Blanchett became the ultimate threat and gave all the seriousness to the otherwise hilarious Thor: Ragnarok. Taika Waititi’s film was regarded as a fresh addition akin to Guardians of the Galaxy to the franchise at that point.
One of the highlights and traditions of the MCU is their bloopers and gag reels which show the main stars of the films at their goofiest. From funny dances to messing up lines, the bloopers humanize the superheroes to an amazing level. One blooper from Thor: Ragnarok showed Blanchett smacking Chris Hemsworth a bit too hard while filming an action scene.

One blooper from Thor: Ragnarok showed Blanchett smacking Chris Hemsworth a bit too hard while filming an action scene.

Here’s why Natalie Portman didn’t return for Thor: Ragnarok (Photo Credit – Instagram/Hotstar)
So, here’s the scoop: back in 2017, Natalie Portman officially stepped off the Marvel train, leaving fans curious and a little bummed. Portman, who played the brainy Jane Foster in Thor and Thor: The Dark World, hinted she was “done with Marvel.” And no, this wasn’t just a scheduling issue—it was a clean break. Asked if Jane would be back in Thor: Ragnarok, Portman’s answer was blunt: “As far as I know, I’m done… maybe for an ‘Avengers 7’ or whatever,” she shrugged. For Marvel fans, it was a big “ouch.”
So, what exactly went down? Well, Ragnarok took a significant leap away from Earth and Jane’s whole reason for being. Marvel Studios’ mastermind Kevin Feige spilled the beans, admitting that Ragnarok would be “80 to 90 percent in the cosmos.” The plot...

We first heard about this one back in 2022 when Tessa Thompson (Thor: Love and Thunder) and Joseph Gordon Levitt (Inception) were both attached to star, but the project has since gained two new leads, and the first teaser trailer the sophomore feature of Grammy-winning musician and filmmaker Flying Lotus, aka Steven Ellison, is now online.
Eiza González (Baby Driver) stars as a woman named Riya who wakes up on a distant planet to find the rest of the crew of her space station viciously murdered. She has to decide whether to trust Brion (Breaking Bad and Westworld's Aaron Paul), the man who claims to have been sent to rescue her.
During their investigation into the killings, however, Brion begins to wonder Riya is as innocent as she pretends to be.
"The way his brain works is quite special," Gonzalez says of her director during a recent an interview with EW.

Everybody farts. That’s just a fact. Some do it more than others, but I don’t know how many people can cause an actual evacuation with one. While speaking on the Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa podcast, Men in Black director Barry Sonnenfeld revealed that Will Smith once caused a three-hour-long evacuation with one of his farts on the set of the 1997 movie. That’s… impressive?
Barry Sonnenfeld said that the fart in question occurred during a scene in which Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones were “hermetically sealed” in a pod used for filming the transforming car. “There are locks to prevent it from opening and falling,” Sonnenfeld said. “I say, ‘Roll camera.’ And I hear Will Smith go, ‘Oh Jesus, so sorry. Tommy, so sorry. Baz, get the ladder.’ And you hear Tommy saying, ‘That’s fine, Will. No worries, Will. Don’t worry,...

During battles, superheroes and other comic book characters often cause significant damage. While they don’t intend for this to happen, harm and casualties occur regardless. There are also instances where heroes kill intentionally, believing it’s the only way to defeat their enemies and achieve victory.
Though some superheroes, like Batman and Superman, adopt “no-kill” policies, this is more of an exception than a standard practice. Generally, superheroes don’t hesitate to eliminate their foes, whether they’re monsters, aliens, or something entirely different.
With that in mind, let’s explore the kill count of a particularly intriguing character from the MCU: Valkyrie. She’s such a formidable presence that her kill count surpasses that of most Avengers.
The data we’re presenting comes from an IMDb list created by user Creedswede, who meticulously tracked the kill count of both major and minor MCU characters, along with several key notes.

With Agatha All Along now premiering its first two episodes, audience reactions have been positive, though critics are less impressed. Continuing from WandaVision and leading into the MCU’s forthcoming Vision project, the show tracks Agatha Harkness’s journey as she escapes captivity and attempts to regain her powers by navigating the Witches’ Road.

It sounded odd when new Selling Sunset cast member Alanna Gold said that she and her husband own a town in the California desert called Pioneertown, and there’s a good reason for that: It’s not true.
Gold has apologized for stating that she “owns” Pioneertown on Season 8 of the Netflix reality series, admitting in a statement to People: “I certainly do not own Pioneertown, I never should have said that and I apologize for doing so. I want you to know that I did not mean any harm, I absolutely love Pioneertown and I simply got too excited talking about it.
