A lonely waitress is desperate to escape her small town and repair her marriage to her deputy sheriff husband. On the evening of their wedding anniversary, the troubled couple attempts to make a fresh start, but things take an unexpected turn when sinister strangers invade their home. As the night unfolds, loyalties shift, secrets spill, and lives shatter.
Wow. Just wow. Just when you thought A Savage Nature was headed down all too familiar home invasion territory it takes a left turn and everything you thought the film was going to be is changed… then it takes Another turn and everything you thought the film was going to be is changed again…
Which makes the film incredibly hard to review without spoiling it.

Mermaids, monsters & demons. Pretty cool company, you’ll agree. Here’s the first trailer for the upcoming Empires Of The Deep movie, or if you prefer – the teaser for the whole thing, ’cause you wont find some spectacular action in this one. Just the usual stuff – the war between good and evil, only under the sea. Or something like that…
This fantasy adventure comes from diretor Michael French, it is set in ancient Greece and will tell us the story of a young man’s adventure in the undersea mermaid kingdom. In order to save his father, he will have to fight some ferocious sea monsters.
Then, there’s also a part of the story which goes like this: he gets involved in large-scale battles in the seabed between mermaids, monsters and demons. Poor man!
Anyway, the movie stars Olga Kurylenko as the Queen of the Mermaid Empire, Steve Polites plays that brave young man,...

The Gunslinger Gifter Logan is a post-apocalyptic scifi/fantasy revenger from American newcomer Steven Ruback (Frostbite). Starring Steve Polites as "Grifter Logan," it is about "one man's journey across the wastelands to avenge the brutal murder of his family, becoming an outlaw, and a hero."
The short film has fairly overt western overtones, particularly at the beginning of the trailer, but it becomes very clear that this is a straight up Pa flick, full of mutants, gas masks and showdowns on the wasteland.
Beyond the great photography and costume design, it was really the score from M.B. Weltz that drew me to the trailer. Again, it's got a great spaghetti western vibe to it, but it's also haunting.
Check out the trailer for The Gunslinger Grifter Logan after the break.

A group of high school friends develop and regularly play their own "murder game," which is similar to good, old fashioned hide and seek. One of them is elected to be the killer by drawing a specific card. The others have no idea who the killer is and the group splits up and hides and the elected killer "kills" anyone he or she can find. The person who can figure out the identity of the killer first wins the game. Understandably, their parents do not approve of the game so forbid their children to participate in it. However, being teenagers, they find a way around this obstacle by sneaking into a large indoor storage facility to play the murder game safely away from the possibility of parents discovering what they are up to. Unfortunately, they are not alone,...
