Rap music has its roots on the streets. Good rap sticks to its roots, usually telling the stories of people for whom this life and relationship with the street are nothing but a fate from which it is impossible to escape. They rarely end well, with a primary focus on the emotional approach to a social problem. Good rap is not only musically effective but also socially involved. Hisonni Mustafa (Hisonni Johnson) tries to keep his film going in a similar vein.
In Take Out Girl, young Tera Wong (Hedy Wong) is living in one of Los Angeles's poorer neighbourhoods. She is expelled from school. Her mother, Wavy Wong (Lynna Yee), has difficulty maintaining a Chinese restaurant, suffering from back problems. On the other hand, Tera's brother, Saren (Lorin Alond Ly), does not show sufficient support to the family, and is also associated with the local criminal underworld. Tera herself enters.

For those of you who know the story behind Red Hood a.k.a. Jason Todd, you know that he doesn't have the most pleasant history with clowns. After all, he was brutally murdered by The Joker. After he has resurrected, thanks to the Lazarus Pit, he went on to become the Red Hood and as you might expect from someone who is murdered by a clown, he might be a little bitter about them.
In this fan film, Red Hood: It, from writer and director Hisonni Johnson, Red Hood comes face to face with another terrifying clown menace... Pennywise The Clown. The short explores what would happen in this crazy crossover situation that I never saw coming.

In 2013, creator Hisonni Johnson treated viewers to the first episode of Grayson: Earth One, a web series set in an alternate DC Comics universe. Now, the next episode is here, and Johnson has once again managed to provide a unique, gritty take on a well-known character.
The "Grayson" in the series refers to Dick Grayson, who is better known as the original alter ego of Robin. Grayson was the focal point of the debut episode, but he doesn't show up in this one. Instead, Johnson focuses on two other incarnations of Robin: Jason Todd, played by Jono Cota, and Carrie Kelly, played by Katie Young. The Joker-inspired villain who appears later in the episode is also drawing some buzz.
Johnson told The Hollywood Reporter that the gritty feel of his series stems from his own experience growing up in inner-city Milwaukee. "I saw what I thought were men with guns...
