Earned her Bachelor of Arts, major in Political Science degree in 1950
at the Institute of Arts and Sciences.
A KBP (Kapisanan ng mga Broadkaster sa Pilipinas) Lifetime Achievement
Awardee, she has been a broadcast journalist for the last six decades
and is still going strong with her programs at DZRH.
Spent most of her career life in radio broadcasting but also appeared
in the few movies and was a lead actress for the Manila Grand Opera
House. She also became a recording artist for Villar Records.
Briefly from 1946 to 1950, she served as the confidential secretary of
the late Vice President Elpidio Quirino who later became a president of
the Philippines.
