Mick Wingert has no relation to Wally Wingert.

Attended Roosevelt School of the Arts in Fresno with Christopher Gorham, Anita Kopacz, Yvonna Kopacz Wright, Audra McDonald, Matthew Floyd Miller, Kurando Mitsutake, James Runcorn, and Matt G. Wiens.

Mick Wingert graduated Suma Cum Laud from California State University, Fresno. He was the first person in his family to earn a four-year degree.

Mick Wingert first met his wife in elementary school. Though, they did not marry until 2011.
