Maria was born in Zweibrucken Germany on December 8. . She moved to the States when she was five years old. She attended Overton High School of Performing Arts in Memphis, TN, She graduated from the University of Memphis with a B.A. in Film and a minor in Theatre and English. Shee currently studies at the Stella Adler School of Acting.
Her father is half Nigerian-American and indigenous with a Bangladesh grandmother and her mother was born and raised in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
