I have many mixed tastes when it comes to horror and sometimes some movies just don’t work for me. Then there are ones that are crazy enough to not take themselves too seriously and just go for the crazy, and they catch me. Evil Feed is a film that mixes mixed martial arts, cannibalism and sex together in an orgy of cult sensationalism that refuses to let me hate it; I loved every minute of it.
When their friends disappear a group of martial artists are forced to infiltrate a Chinese restaurant where the menu is not exactly what it seems. With a fighting club being used to provide the meat for the dishes and the house...

Well my peeps, we are down to only a few episodes left of Mortal Kombat: Legacy. This week is Episode 8 - Scorpion and Subzero (Part 2) which shows us how Hanzo (Ian Anthony Dale) witnesses the destruction of his village and his family's death and how he actually becomes Scorpion through Shang Tsung's (Johnson Phan) evil manipulation. Shang Tsung pretty much uses Sub-Zero (Kevin Ohtsji) to get Scorpion to fight in the nether realm aka Mortal Kombat. Kevin Tancharoen has done a great job with this web series!

He knows that he must defeat Sub-Zero and return to his village before it is too late.”
This is one of those set-up episodes with exposition and very little action. The next episode, hopefully, will have much more action. I am really looking forward to the Scorpion,...

The second part of the Kitana & Mileena saga (and the fifth episode in the nine episode series) has been released. It’s probably the shortest episode yet, at just barely 7 minutes, and half of that is rendered in animated form. Again, I feel gypped. Check it out below. Kitana and Mileena have grown up thinking that they are sisters, yet have grown apart over the years. Despite Mileena’s growing resentment towards Kitana, Shao Kahn uses them to destroy all who threaten his rule. But when they come upon King Jerrod on one of their missions, they finally learn the truth about their Mother and Father, and Kitana looks to plot her revenge against Shao Kahn. Starring Samantha Tjhia as Kitana, Jolene Tran as Mileena, Aleks Paunovic as Shao Khan, and Johnson Phan as Shang Tsung. Previously…...

Episode 4 of Kevin Tancharoen‘s Mortal Kombat: Legacy (2011) stars Aleks Paunovic, Samantha Tjhia, Jolene Tran, Kirby Morrow, and Beatrice Ilg. Mortal Kombat: Legacy: Season 1, Episode 4′s plot synopsis: “Beautiful, athletic, and trained as highly skilled assassins, Kitana and Mileena have grown up thinking that they are sisters. Shao Kahn, Emperor of the Outworld, has tricked Shang Tsung into becoming his servant for Mortal Kombat by making him clone Mileena as a Tarkatan clone of Kitana, out of Shao Kahn’s fear that Kitana wouldn’t love him enough if she ever found out the truth about her Mother and Father.” This episode of Mortal Kombat: Legacy also stars Johnson Phan, Karin Inghammar, Fraser Aithcheson, Aaron Hutchinson, Lani Gelera, Colin Decker, Eli Zagoudakis, and Don Lew. I liked the narration in this episode and I definitely liked the combat,...

Fourth episode in Kevin Tancharoen’s “Mortal Kombat: Legacy” web series features a history/background of wardrobe-challenged Kitana and Mileena. Half of the episode is in animated form, which, I dunno, isn’t that kind of a gyp? Isn’t the whole point of this doing everything in live-action? Anyways. Beautiful, athletic, and trained as highly skilled assassins, Kitana and Mileena have grown up thinking that they are sisters. Johnny Cage and his woes in the world of reality television have been cast aside for the ladies. The fourth episode of 'Mortal Kombat: Legacy' (see below) focuses on the early years of Kitana (Sam Tjhia) and Mileena. (Jolene Tran) The two girl's mother, Sindel (Beatrice King) makes an appearance, as does Shao Kahn, (Aleks Paunovic) Shang Tsung, (Johnson Phan) and the always attractive, Baraka. (Fraser Aitcheson) Sindel is the most dissimilar to the way she's typically depicted because of the timeline. She hasn't had time to go white-haired and crazy. 'Mortal Kombat: Legacy' is exclusive to Machinima. The web series is directed by Kevin Tancharoen, the man who sparked a renewed interest in the idea of a live-action 'Mortal Kombat' film with his short, 'Mortal Kombat: Rebirth.' Although he's yet to get the go-ahead for a full feature film, 'Legacy' is proving to be a success,...

Tancharoen Scores Big With Third Entry In New Web-Series.
The third entry in Kevin Tancharoen's web-series, Mortal Kombat: Legacy is easily the best released so far. Riding high on the action-heavy first episodes that introduced Jax, Sonya Blade, Stryker, and Kano to eager audiences, Tancharoen breaks off and brings us a new character, the fallen martial-arts star, Johnny Cage.
Cage is played by 5-time martial arts champion Matt Mullins (who currently holds a 4th degree black belt in Shorei Ryu and is best known for his work on the Discovery Channel, having co-founded Extreme Martial Arts). Bringing in such a remarkable fighter is simply another example of Tancharoen's desire to showcase the brutal realism of Mortal Kombat while maintaining a distance from the supernatural elements of the video game series. And as Episode 3 showcases, it works like a charm.
The episode plays out like an E! True Hollywood Story at first,...

Mortal Kombat: Legacy, Season 1, Episode 3: Johnny Cage has premiered. Episode 3 of Kevin Tancharoen‘s Mortal Kombat: Legacy (2011) stars Matt Mullins, David Nykl, Adrian Hough, Erica Cerra, and Johnson Phan. Mortal Kombat: Legacy: Season 1, Episode 3′s plot synopsis: “After unsuccessfully trying to sell his reality television pilot pitch to a studio exec, Johnny Cage, an American action-hero movie star who has fallen on hard times, is recruited by Shang Tsung, a powerful sorcerer who has the power to suck souls from people, to fight in the upcoming Mortal Kombat tournament.” We previously posted Mortal Kombat: Legacy, Season 1, Episode 1 – Jax, Sonya, and Kano (Part 1) and Mortal Kombat: Legacy, Season 1, Episode 2 – Jax, Sonya, and Kano (Part 2). Johnny Cage was the weakest Mortal Kombat: Legacy episode so far until it got to the ending, which almost made up for it. Watch Mortal Kombat: Legacy, Season 1, Episode 3: Johnny Cage below and leave your thoughts on it.
