- Has four children together with his wife Brittany Brees sons Baylen Robert Brees (January 15, 2009), Bowen Christopher Brees (October 19, 2010), Callen Christian Brees (August 15, 2012), and a daughter Rylen Judith Brees (August 25, 2014).
- His parents are Eugene Wilson "Chip" Brees II and Mina Ruth (1950-2009), who were both Texas-based attorneys. They divorced in 1987.
