Comedians and podcasters Bert Kreischer and Tom Segura are jumping into the spirits game with a new vodka brand.
The duo, who co-host the hit comedy podcast 2 Bears, 1 Cave, have partnered with venture studio Drip Mfg to launch their own vodka brand, Por Osos. While the pair are known for their jokes, they’re taking this new venture quite seriously.

The pair note that they had been approached many times before to create something in the liquor space. They waffled between a few types of liquor before settling on vodka. Kreischer feels that vodka is a “natural fit,” while Segura notes that there “hasn’t been anybody disruptive in the vodka space.”

Stick a fork in Guy Fieri’s inaugural Flavortown Fest. The two-day music and food extravaganza planned for June 1st and 2nd in the Food Network star’s hometown of Columbus, Ohio, has been canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
The festival was set to be headlined by rockers Greta Van Fleet and country star Kane Brown, and also feature performances from Bret Michaels, Locash, Niko Moon, and more. The event was promoted as a celebration of Columbus, with the festival grounds set to be transformed into the fictional “Flavortown” — a Fieri-themed village featuring “eats and experiences from some of Guy’s favorite Triple D restaurants from the Columbus area and around the country.”

A highly amusing, albeit scathing New York Times restaurant review of Guy Fieri’s American Kitchen & Bar that went viral in 2012 is being used by attorneys acting for the Times in their lawsuit against OpenAI to illustrate just how destructive the new technology could be to the future of journalism. When prompted about the opening paragraphs of critic Pete Wells’ review, entire passages are lifted verbatim by ChatGPT. “Did panic grip your soul as you stared into the whirling hypno wheel of the menu, where adjectives and nouns spin in a crazy vortex?” Wells had written. Those sentences and several other paragraphs were copied directly from the pages of the paper and then regurgitated by the AI system, per the lawsuit.

Warner Bros.
