ABC has renewed most of its primetime slate, while NBC has only renewed two comedies. CBS crushed viewers on Friday when it canceled The Equalizer, which has us concerned about the state of television.

Fox and The CW are somewhere in between, making decisions on a few shows, while others are in limbo.

It’s a show that continues to do remarkable work with its strong messaging regarding hope, working through trauma, and bringing people home.

The series has strong writing that keeps us glued to the screens every week. It also has one of the best casts currently on television, with fantastic chemistry and incredibly rich characters.

One character who epitomizes that is the enigmatic, fiercely loyal, and wonderfully complex Dhan Rana. He’s easily one of the most compelling characters on broadcast and certainly one of Found’s most dynamic.

So naturally, it was a genuine pleasure to catch up with his talented portrayer, the gracious and humble Karan Oberoi, about the importance of this series, the action-packed remaining episodes, bringing his natural chemistry with Shanola Hampton to life onscreen, and Dhan’s background.

The first half of the Netflix anime series Sakamoto Days ended last weekend. It introduced us to the legendary hitman Taro Sakamoto and the unexpected plight he found himself in following his retirement. The first half of the season sets the scene for what's to come, and the wait to see what's next won't be long, as it was revealed that its continuation will occur late in the year. According to the show's official Japanese account on Twitter/X, it was announced that Sakamoto Days will return in the middle of the year and air on Tokyo TV and other networks like Netflix. Along with the announcement is a new promo image reminiscent of Avengers: Endgame. The first 11 episodes are now available to stream on Netflix, and an English dub is available for those interested.

Sakamoto Days is an anime series based on the manga by Yuto Suzuki on the same day.

Several different elements must come together to craft a fantastic anime. A wonderful story is a necessity, as are likable characters. Stellar animation is always a bonus, although anime like Mob Psycho 100 proved style isn't everything. Of course, great voice actors always have a role to play as well.

However, not all voice actors stick around for the series' entire lifetime. While the reason for not remaining for an entire series may vary, from retirement to being let go for controversial reasons, a new voice actor has to come in to replace the original. This transition can sometimes be quite jarring for fans. Yet, there are times when the new voice actor that takes over the role does so with flying colors.

There are some great NBC shows still on the bubble. That’s nothing too major to worry about just yet, as we’re only into March. NBC has a habit of waiting until closer to the May Upfronts to make some final decisions.

However, with so many shows on the bubble, we can look at the ones likely to be renewed and canceled. While NBC doesn’t only just rely on the linear ratings, this is usually a strong indication as to whether a show will get another chance.

Something I do want to point out is that Friday and Sunday linear ratings tend to be lower than other nights, and that is something that needs to be considered when look at the ratings to determine which NBC shows could be canceled.

Hunter x Hunter fans have an upcoming treat in store. Viz Media and gaming company KessCo have teamed up to reveal a brand-new release for the franchise -- a board game in which players compete in a special version of the Hunter Exam. The game will reportedly "challenges friends and families to experience the high-stakes journey of earning a Hunter License."

The anime industry spans a variety of genres, but arguably the action genre is the most popular and prominent of them all. By now, action anime has developed a strong appeal among all demographics, not just young boys, making anime like Bleach and My Hero Academia highly mainstream and popular. No matter the demographic, there is a variety of action anime that anyone can connect to.

The best action anime don't just feature well-animated fight scenes and cool combat systems, though. It sounds like we're going to be seeing a lot of Rick Flag Sr. in the Dcu over the next few years.

Frank Grillo voiced the character in the recent Creature Commandos animated series, and will make his live-action debut in James Gunn's Superman before returning for the second season of Peacemaker. Now, Mttsh is reporting that Flag will also be a part of the upcoming Waller series.

This wouldn't really be much of a surprise given Flag's close association with Waller, but it does obviously suggest that he will survive the events of Peacemaker season 2 and his run-in with John Cena's Christopher Smith.

Though the project was impacted by the Hollywood strikes, DC Studios co-ceo James Gunn recently confirmed that Waller is still moving forward, with Viola Davis set to reprise her role as the Dcu's ruthless A.R.G.U.S. chief.

Sakamoto Days is Winter 2025’s hit comedy anime of the season, featuring a main character who joins the long list of super-powered shōnen protagonists: Taro Sakamoto. The film transforms the last two episodes of the final TV season into a theatrical experience worthy of the big screen. The hour dropped so many things at once that it practically left our heads spinning, with M&a’s most faithful soldier fighting for his life, Trent’s fate a shocking unknown, and more questions than answers about Sir.

Where do we even begin with this action-packed hour?

Picking up where Found Season 2 Episode 8 left off, Gabi squared off with Sir in a tense confrontation that ended with some mysterious person clocking Gabi over the head.

Sir didn’t anticipate Gabi’s presence at the school and was holding out for Heavy Boots. But their reunion wasn’t the most shocking part about that interaction.

When Peacemaker premiered back in 2022, the show's hilariously bizarre opening sequence soon became one of the biggest talking points, and fans can look forward to a brand-new dance number featuring the main cast when the HBO/Max series returns for its second season.

Writer director James Gunn has previously revealed that the credits sequence will be revamped for season 2, but we still don't know what to expect. We have heard that Wig Wam's "Do Ya Wanna Taste It" will be replaced by another song, but this has yet to be confirmed.

Star John Cena wasn't willing to divulge any details during an interview with Collider, but he does sound confident that fans will appreciate the new intro.

The official X account of Netflix Anime unveiled a brand new trailer and cast for Sakamoto Days English dub ahead of its premiere on the platform on Jan 11, 2024.

Available for streaming exclusively on Netflix beginning January 11, 2025, fans will soon be able to experience all the action that has made Yuto Suzuki's original manga a Weekly Shōnen Jump mega-hit. With only days to go before the premiere, Netflix has released another new trailer for the series, and finally revealed the star-studded cast responsible for the series' English dub.

Featuring a few familiar voices in the industry, as well as those from actors best known for their on-screen performances, Sakamoto Days' English dub will be one fans won't want to miss. At long last, Netflix is about to debut the much-anticipated action-comedy anime Sakamoto Days this weekend and, to celebrate, the streamer has shared one final trailer introducing viewers to Taro Sakamoto. Once a legendary hitman at the top of his game, he abandoned his profession to settle down with his family and run a convenience store. Leaving the criminal life behind isn't easy, however, and it isn't long before his past catches up with him and threatens those he loves. The footage shows Sakamoto using his fabled skills to protect the cozy life he's built, with Critical Role host Matthew Mercer lending his voice to the former killer for the star-studded English dub.

Netflix has revealed the first look at its upcoming English dub for Sakamoto Days ahead of the series premiere on the streaming platform on Jan. 11, 2025. Matthew Mercer headlines the star-studded English cast as the legendary hitman Taro Sakamoto, who retires from the deadly lifestyle after falling in love (and later lets himself go).

However, one does not simply leave the criminal underworld alive. A luxurious bounty has been placed on Sakamoto’s head, and mercenaries worldwide are out to claim it. There's a special treat in store for Persona fans next month. The English-dubbed version of Persona 5 The Animation will become available to stream on the platform starting Jan. 23.

Hulu recently unveiled the anime's upcoming release date alongside dozens of other animated and live-action programs that will be added to the platform's catalog next year. Released in 2018, Persona 5 The Animation is a retelling of the main storyline from Atlus' bestselling Persona 5 video game. The series is produced by CloverWorks, which is known for Spy x Family and Fate/Grand Order. The Persona 5 anime was initially made available to Western audiences in September 2020 with a Funimation-produced English dub starring Xander Mobus (Ren Amamiya) and Cassandra Lee Morris (Morgana). The majority of the show's English cast members reprise their character roles from the original video game.
