A wedding with a dark secret is at the heart of this strange, silly action movie, dragged out by abrupt flashes forward and back
You can’t say the title doesn’t warn you. Quoting the darkest part of the traditional wedding vow and revolving around both matrimony and mortality, this quite silly, rather weird action movie starts with an unnamed bride (Natalie Burn) and groom (Ser’Darius Blain) preparing to walk down the aisle. But before the Wedding March can start, the film cuts to a different point in time where the couple in question are frolicking on the Puerto Rican beach where the film is set and shot. They go to a bar where they meet another, older couple (Jason Patric and Nicole Arlyn) and then another crash cut jumps us to yet another point in the story when the bride is running away from her husband, but is...

Nothing could prepare you for the giant mess that Timothy Woodward Jr.’s Ready Or Not knock-off turns out to be. I mean, for a film to not be a satire and still come off as though it were parodying itself is the kind of well-rounded defeat that not even the overeager action sequences could have prevented. Treading the line between two timelines that seemingly come together to throw an off-registry deadly wedding gift the Bride’s way, Til Death Do Us Part doesn’t skimp on the bloodshed. Here’s how our gorgeous Bride-in-red aims for a life away from the one that’s been holding her hostage.
Spoilers Ahead
Plot Synopsis: What Happens in the Film?
If I were to guess why Til Death Do Us Part didn’t even bother naming most of its characters, I would’ve chalked it up to the creative team’s passion...

For Ukranian-American actress Natalie Burn, growing up as a ballerina and going to ultra-competitive schools in Moscow and London was surprisingly effective training for surviving Hollywood.
“The competition is so brutal and you’re constantly getting rejected,” Burn says. “You have to have a very thick skin to not pay attention and just brush it off and go, ‘It’s okay.’ In the end, you’re doing it for you. That’s your dream. You’re basically saying, ‘No, I was born to do this, so I’m not gonna give up.’”

Plot: After bailing on her wedding, a former bride-to-be must fight off her ex-groom and seven angry killer groomsmen in order to survive the night.
Review: I always love a good revenge story. Ever since Kill Bill, even having a character named The Bride automatically evokes the imagery of Uma Thurman in that yellow and black jumpsuit. So I went into Til Death Do Us Part expecting something with a lot of personality. Sure, it was never going to live up to the Tarantino classic but that’s okay. Few do. And while the characters don’t hit quite as hard as I’d have liked, there’s a fun mystery present that elevates the film. Because the question of why this woman ditched out on her wedding doesn’t have an answer that you may expect. And that’s why I ended up enjoying myself, despite its many flaws.

As Til Death Do Us Part opens The Best Man sits in a pew working on his speech as upbeat music plays in the background. That’s followed by similar glimpses of other wedding party members prepping for the ceremony. A flashback to The Bride and Groom, nobody in this film has a name, on vacation serves to reinforce the happy image.
But Til Death Do Us Part isn’t a Hallmark Channel rom-com or Lifetime Channel thriller. Because when The Bride gets cold feet and bails on the wedding, we find out everyone involved in the ceremony is a highly skilled assassin. Now the stood-up Groom wants more than just his ring back, and their employer doesn’t take resignations well.

Marriage means different things to different people, but however one looks at it, it’s a major commitment. It’s not surprising that, as the big day approaches, some people get nervous. In this case the bride (Natalie Burn) is visibly unsettled by the sight of a mother with a small child – but it’s not that she’s daunted by the prospect of parenthood. On the contrary, this is the life she wants - and so she acknowledges, finally, that no matter how much she loves the groom (Ser’Darius Blain), she just can’t bring herself to commit to remaining a professional assassin.
Even after being jilted at the altar, the groom hopes that they can work things out. He asks his best man (Cam Gigandet) and seven groomsmen to detain her at the house she has bolted to until he can get there. It ought to be a simple operation.

Not to be confused with the Clint Eastwood Enforcer (1976) or the Humphrey Bogart Enforcer (1951), this cheap and cheerful crime thriller stars Antonio Banderas as a strong-arm man who turns against his employers. As such, it’s entirely watchable and made with a degree of style, but it’s also predictably generic and occasionally laughable in its simplicity.
The Enforcer opens with one of those prologue sequences that immediately gives away the ending, as Banderas’ Cuda (short for Barracuda) reflects on what brought him to his current blood-soaked state. The rest of the story is then told in flashback, with Cuda taking new enforcer Stray under his wing, while working for slinky Miami mob boss Estelle.

Studio City, the little-engine-that-could creation of The Bold and Beautiful actor Sean Kanan, is back for a second season on Amazon Prime today.
“I am unbelievably proud of Studio City and what we accomplished during Season 1,” said Kanan. “It was a project that, with the hard work of an ensemble of talented creatives, came to fruition and won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Limited Series. We are excited to bring you Season 2.”
Spring Premiere Dates For New & Returning Series On Broadcast, Cable & Streaming
The first 11 episodes of the digital drama dropped in 2019 and continued into 2020. It tells the story of Sam Stevens (Kanan), a longtime soap opera actor starring in the second-most-watched daytime drama, Hearts on Fire, as he struggles to keep his top spot on the show while attempting to break into feature films and navigate his complicated personal life.

"I must make you suffer." Lionsgate has revealed a trailer for yet another straight-to-the-trash Bruce Willis action movie, which he keeps churning out more & more of recently. This latest one is Fortress: Sniper's Eye, apparently a sequel to the action cyber-thriller Fortress from last year; they found a different director for this one. Which didn't seem to help much. Retired CIA agent Robert Carter Michaels and his son Paul have committed themselves to rebuilding their relationship after their epic last encounter spent protecting the highly secure secret base: the Fortress. When Paul's wife, Melissa, is abducted, he and Robert embark on a deadly journey through the rugged mountains in hopes of saving her. The movie stars Jesse Metcalfe, Bruce Willis, Chad Michael Murray, Ser'Darius Blain, Kelly Greyson, Natalie Burn, Welker White, and Gabrielle Haugh. As forgettable as they come. I think even nodded off watching the trailer. Here's the official...

I’ve been a big fan of actress Natalie Burn since her role in 2016’s Left to Die (aka Awaken). That film, which she also co-wrote, saw her take the lead role in a Most Dangerous Game-esque movie but be sidelined by the marketing materials who focused on the appearance of Vinnie Jones in the cast. And Acceleration does something very similar.
To the uninitiated Acceleration looks like yet another Dtv star-vehicle for Dolph Lundgren; hell, even the cast listing atop the DVD cover puts Sean Patrick Flanery, Lundgren and Chuck Liddell ahead of Burns. But this Is Burns’ film, she and her character are the driving force behind the action. It...
