Carl Clemons

Carl Clemons is an American actor based out of Pittsburgh Pa. Clemons credits his career to God, as well as Pittsburgh based casting director Nancy Mosser of Nancy Mosser Casting who helped him get started. Carl is mostly known for his role on Season 4 of HBO's "The Wire" where he got shot in the rear end during a robbery with Method Mans character alongside Michael K Williams known as Omar. Carl has been fortunate in his career working alongside veterans such as Christian Bale, Tyrese Gibson, Jake Gyllenhaal, Wesley Snipes, among others. Carl grew up in poverty, in the streets of Wilkinsburg Pa, a Pittsburgh borough surrounded by crime! In Carl's words, in life you can choose to be apart of the problem or part of the solution, I chose the solution! His goal is to show the underdogs like him self there is a way out & bring films to his community & other poverty stricken areas of Pittsburgh, and providing hope for those who are lost. All his life, he has been the under dog, both personally & professionally, quitting is never an option, he says, he "welcomes adversity" as it makes him "stronger"!! Carl has overcome numerous obstacles in life, while seeing friends die and imprisoned engulfed in the environment around him it changed his mentality. I'm blessed to have a beautiful daughter named Camarra,I pray I always can motivate her in life to have what I didn't Carl says. My mom Barbara Clemons, and Grandma Arbeulah Clemons raised me alone, we were very poor, yet rich within. I look to show my daughter what having a father is all about.
