- Jennifer started her own non-profit organization, The Forget Me Not Foundation at age 24.
- Her directorial debut, "8:46" premiered at the 65th annual Cannes Film Festival Marché du Film where it was acquired by Virgil Films.
- After traveling to Uganda in 2013 to do research for a script, she created "Filmanthropy" an initiative through her production company, Forget Me Not Productions, with the purpose of helping aspiring filmmakers of Third World countries receive funding for their film projects, as well as guidance, support and training to assist them with their careers.
- Is a vegetarian and animal rights activist.
- Held a special charity screening of "8:46" on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 at Tribeca Cinemas with 100% of ticket sales donated to Tuesday's Children.
