After Showtime canceled Uncoupled after saving it from cancellation at Netflix, cast members are mourning the Neil Patrick Harris comedy series on social media. “Welp, I guess I’m not going to NYC in May to shoot,” Jai Rodriguez, the former Queer Eye for the Straight Guy star who played pal Jonathan #2 in Uncoupled, wrote in his Instagram Stories, according to Deadline. Dan Amboyer, who played love interest Luke in the series, also reacted to the surprise cancellation on Instagram. “Sad that there won’t be a season 2 of #Uncoupled after all,” he wrote on Friday. “Thankful for my experience, would have loved to see this story go on. Had my eyes set on it as soon as I heard about it, originally. One of my favorite projects (to be a small part of) — and a meaningful moment for me to finally play a gay role on screen. Yes, Younger fans, that really did just happen. All of it: Liza’s kiss with Charles, her proposal-turned-breakup with Josh, and — of course — her game-changing confession to Kelsey. And TVLine is turning to series creator Darren Star to help us make sense of it all…
Tvline | First of all, thank you for finally clueing Kelsey in. Why was now the right time, in your mind?
In terms of the character, it was her way of trying to redeem herself a little bit. That’s really what motivated it.

Well, what happens on morphine doesn't stay...in the hospital. That's for sure.
After watching Younger Season 3 Episode 8, it appears we're in for an arc that will include a lot more of David, and that can only mean unnecessary pressure on Liza regarding her secret.
David doesn't know she's running around as a 26-year-old as far as I can recall. At least Josh knows, and since he's probably going to have to bear a lot of the David burden with Liza, at least they can try together to get him to understand there is no future for the former married couple.
My favorite parts of this episode focused on female friendship.
When Liza made the special dinner to celebrate, Maggie immediately thought it was to toast Liza's freedom from her marriage, from David. And while that was part of it, it was more about Liza thanking Maggie, for without her,...

Damn you, Kiko, and your kissing away of the things!
The speed with which Younger Season 3 Episode 1 passed before our eyes was much faster than the fluttering of a 15-year-old wedding dress after it was kissed off out of an open window, don't you agree?
Poof! Just like that, the butterfly wings on Charles' tender feels for Liza were crushed because New York City is much smaller than we ever imagined.
Meh. Baloney.
Does anyone think for one second it's going to be that easy for Charles to kiss off his feelings for Liza? Heck no. Not any more than I expect Diana probably had a mild myocardial infarction when she realized what she did with her carefully stored wedding dress.
Kiko make be making a mint on her self-help book, but we know what they're worth. The paper they're printed on and about 30 minutes of panic time after they're read.

We're still counting down the days to the Younger Season 3 premiere, and celebrating with our interview of Miriam Shor and Peter Hermann from the Atx Festival this summer. Miram plays Liza's boss, Diana and Peter plays Diana's boss and Liza's potential love interest, Charles.
Much like Molly Bernard and Dan Amboyer, I've been a fan of Miriam Shor's for quite some time, so we began by talking about her work in Gcb and the underrated gem Swingtown.
Leaving Peter Hermann out of the initial conversation meant hearing his voice was a shocking surprise. It's deep and quite lovely in person. Miriam used the term resonant and it was fun watching Peter get a little bit uncomfortable before the real conversation began, and what a conversation it was. I hope you enjoy reading it.
We have to talk about the episode where Charles had his pants situation, which earned a brilliant reaction from Diana.

Molly Bernard and Dan Amboyer play Lauren and Thad/Chad, respectively on Younger. Lauren is not only Kelsey's best friend, but Maggie's lover. As Thad, Dan was Kelsey's fiance, now deceased, and we're waiting to find out what kind of character he'll play in twin, Chad.
After discussing the Atx Festival (Molly notes it celebrates the pure unadulterated love of TV) and discovering what Dan and I had in common (he went to Carnegie Mellon University...I live in Pittsburgh), we barreled into a full on Younger discussion like the pros we are. Enjoy!
You guys have a super hot show and Dan didn't die! The supporting characters on the show are so much fun and have so many wonderful qualities. How much fun do you guys have?
Molly: Oh my gosh. So much fun. The hiatus that we took between Season 2 and Season 3 was really rich for me. I...

When TV Land's Younger returns for its third season premiere on September 28th, fans will no doubt be clamoring around their TVs, eagerly awaiting the outcome of Liza's life and love-changing decision. As avid viewers can recall, she and her boss shared a kiss toward the end of last season's finale, before her younger ex-boyfriend showed up on her stoop, announcing his plan to take her back. But while we're all caught up in the struggle of choosing between TeamJosh and TeamCharles, we cannot forget the other key contributors to the hit sitcom's male roster Thad and Chad and the man who effortlessly brings them both to life Dan Amboyer.

Is Scott Eastwood playing Dick Grayson aka Nightwing? That's the most popular rumor, which further states that Ben Affleck's Batman sends Grayson undercover to find out what Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) is planning. However, there's also rumors that Eastwood is playing a descendant of Chris Pine's Steve Trevor, who's a key character in Wonder Woman, which is set during World War I. In yet another rumor (from last Summer), Heroic Hollywood stated that Eastwood was playing Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke. With all the rumors floating around out there, it's important to remember that fans that love a certain amount of speculation have been burned before by the Dceu. After months and months of wild theories, it turned out Jena Malone was playing an obscure S.T.A.R. Labs scientist in Batman v Superman. Dan Amboyer, who was rumored to be playing Hal Jordan, turned out to be...

Some new information has been brought to light thanks to the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - Ultimate Edition home release. It lays another bizarre layer on Jena Malone's character and honestly I don't know what to think anymore. Back in March, before Zack Synder's Batman v Superman hit theaters, we found out Malone had been cut from the film entirely. This was after a few years of fan speculation on who she was playing in the first place. Then just a week later, a Warner Bros. survey was apparently linked that straight up named the actor as Barbara Gordon. And then came the Batman v Superman Ultimate Edition trailer which briefly featured Malone with blonde hair. Barbara Gordon of course is a famous redhead. I didn't think too much of it since Snyder isn't a stickler for canon. Although the film is set to be released on Digital HD June 28 and on Blu-ray July 19, it seems a leak of the credits has made its way to YouTube. Comic Book Resources posted a video from user Thx-dc which lists Malone as Jenet Klyburn. Klyburn is... wait for it... a redhead and a scientist from S.T.A.R. Labs in Metropolis. So that's underwhelming. And also removes any interest for me to watch the extended version of Batman v Superman. Michael Cassidy is also clearly listed in the credits as Jimmy Olsen (I honestly can't recall if that was the case in the theatrical release) and notably absent is any mention of Hal Jordan. The rumored Dan Amboyer is listed instead as Drone Pilot.

If you still aren’t watching Younger, it’s time to get on board, and apparently a lot of people are. The second season finale aired recently, and managed the show’s best ratings.
That’s a good trick for a show these days, especially when it isn’t one that can manage an insane marketing budget. It’s all down to the writing with this one, and Sutton Foster‘s charm. When I initially reviewed Younger, I was impressed, but was a little nervous that the show might fall too hard for its own shtick. While the show obviously focuses on the inherent problems of keeping up the lie, it has managed to build characters worth watching without playing for ridiculous drama. The idea creates enough problems without trying to milk it, and the attention to dialog has been refreshing through two seasons.
Whatever the magic recipe is exactly,...

Given its level of sheer insanity, no one would blame you for needing to watch the final scene of last Wednesday’s Younger more than once. In fact, even star Sutton Foster admits to TVLine that she replayed it “about five times.”

Warner Bros. and DC have already announced who will play all the Justice Leaguers in the DC Extended Universe, with one exception: Green Lantern. (Sorry, Shazam, you haven’t made the team cut yet.) The last year has seen plenty of rumors of who might become the next Emerald Knight, from Tyrese Gibson as John Stewart to Dan Amboyer as Hal Jordan, but the studio’s staying mum for now. Still, the ring-slinger has fans even in the acting community, and Lucifer star D.B. Woodside took an unorthodox approach to trying to get a Green Lantern audition. At last year’s Comic-Con International, D.B. Woodside wore a Green Lantern T-shirt to show off his love for the hero, but he also admitted to Comic Book Resources that he was trying to get the attention of some DC bigwigs. He said: Maybe I was wearing a ...

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is just around the corner. But if everything falls into place, Warner Bros. has a slate of superhero movies planned out until 2020. The last one on that list? Green Lantern Corps. And if you’re going to have a gaggle of Green Lanterns, you’re gonna need someone to play the role of John Stewart. D.B. Woodside knows just the guy…him. Last year at San Diego Comic-Con, Woodside was on hand to talk about his role as Amenadiel on the Fox show Lucifer. But he was trying to send DC Comics subtle message by sporting his Green Lantern graphic tee. Why play an angel when you can play Lantern (or play both)? Woodside recently revisited his dream to play John Stewart in a Lucifer interview by Comic Book Resources. “I grew up as a comic-book guy, so I love these characters. We're living...

One of the bigger mysteries surrounding Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is whether a Green Lantern will cameo and if Dan Amboyer is playing Hal Jordan. Thanks to the recent Dceu Film Special on The CW, we know the Green Lanterns will have a major role in the Justice League two-parter and that the League will feature at least Jordan and John Stewart, if not also the likes of Kyle Rayner, Guy Gardner and Simon Baz as well. Speaking to Pop Sugar, Amboyer gave some cryptic clues and described what it was like working with Zack Snyder. On working with Zack Snyder: It was interesting. He was a cool guy. I don't know if people know this, but he's really big about fitness on set, even as far as catering. So, he's always encouraging healthy food, which is great. He even makes you do push-ups in between takes.

Slowly but surely Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice has become less about the imminent smack down between Ben Affleck’s Dark Knight and Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel, and more about the early formation of DC’s Justice League. However, what about the final piece of the puzzle: Green Lantern? Hilary Duff and Sutton Foster’s new show Younger premiered tonight on TVLand with back-to-back episodes, and millennials need to rejoice. Duff’s first big television return since her glorious Lizzie McGuire days isn’t just good: it’s absolutely delightful. If the show’s 20-minute pilot is any indication, Younger is a brisk, bubbly, and snappy dramedy filled with solid acting, glitzy story lines, and one very hot man. While it’s not innovative or groundbreaking by any means, Younger is positioning itself to be the perfect Tuesday night guilty pleasure. And with Pretty Little Liars getting ridiculous Af, we’re in desperate need of a new show. (Warning: spoilers ahead!)

Batman V Superman; Dawn of Justice hits cinemas next year, and Warner Bros are using it to launch their Justice League franchise. Problem is, for a Justice League origin story, there's one character suspiciously missing from the casting list. Green Lantern, disastrously brought to life by Ryan Reynolds a few years ago is a huge cog in the Justice League wheel, and almost all iterations of the super team include one of the fabled Green Lantern Corps. While it's up to Zack Snyder whether or not Gl gets included in his movie, I have a sneaking suspicion that Warner Bros and DC are trying to sneak him in under the radar. Enter Dan Amboyer, a little-known actor who is confirmed as part of the cast for Batman V Superman, and is listed as "drone pilot", an occupation not a million miles away from that of one Mr. Hal Jordan, test...
